Our stay at Lishia's place was fantastic. Perfect location for a family celebration (my sister's 50th). Iluka is beautiful with lots to do and friendly locals. Her place is not far from the ferry terminal and beautiful bushwalks. We even saw a cool local band and had cocktails at sunset by the river.

Location is beautiful! Lots to do and all within a close distance. Had a great stay at Elaine’s beach shack, a lot of thought and effort was put into the space, she even put out doggie treats for our pup once we checked in ☺️ was peaceful and relaxing, definitely would recommend!!

Thanks to Rick for an amazing stay! His property was stunning with plenty to do and explore and beautiful 360 degree country/ farm views. A very tranquil and relaxing environment that I cant recommend enough. Also, the amentities were clean and the shower had truly amazing water pressure (its the small things). I will be back! Highly recommend.

We stayed at Anchor on the Bowsprit for 5 delightful nights. The location of the first floor apartment is perfect - overlooking the canal, surrounded by floral & fauna. The apartment is very well presented and spotlessly clean. It was incredibly well-equipped - especially the kitchen. Bedrooms were of hotel quality and the beds were very comfortable. Karen was very warm and welcoming and responded to any emails very quickly. We would have no hesitation in staying again - or recommending Anchor on the Bowsprit to friends & family.

We had a fantastic stay at Shane’s place. From the moment she welcomed us, we felt right at home. The apartment was quiet and private - just perfect for recharging. We especially loved the pool and the BBQ, which were for our exclusive use. On top of that, we really enjoyed our casual chats with Shane and saying hi to Yogi, her super cute dog. Thank you so much for making us feel at home! This will remain a special memory from our travels through Australia.

We had the most wonderful stay at Peter's property. We went for the Bluesfest but found it difficult to drag ourselves away from the serenity of the deck and river. Surrounded by a stunning and private garden, the flat had everything we needed for our 5 day stay, where we self catered breakfast out on the deck each morning and wandered down the road to the local bar, the Salty Mangrove, for lunch and dinner on different days. Our hosts were a fascinating couple who both allowed us privacy and space, while also being great for a chat and local recommendations. Two minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the local shop and bar, you can park your car and spend the weekend exploring the local sights and beaches on foot. We could not recommend this property more highly, what a treasure. Thank you both for such a wonderful stay.

10/10. Highly recommend! This home is absolutely incredible—better than the photos and exceeded all our expectations. The design is stunning, with a spacious, private layout and every detail carefully thought out. From the DKNY linens and Sheridan towels to the luxurious bedding and high-quality crockery - everything was of the highest quality, ensuring an exceptionally comfortable stay. Denise’s attention to detail was amazing. The chilled bubbles on arrival, sunblock, bug spray, beach towels and even kayaks were such thoughtful touches that made everything seamless, stress-free and effortless. It’s rare to find a place where every need is anticipated and exceeded. Thank you, Denise. The peaceful and tranquil location was perfect for unwinding, yet close enough to enjoy the nearby beaches, cafes and nature walks. This is a premium holiday home, in a heavenly destination! I can't wait to return, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on the Gold Coast.
