Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Northern Rivers

Had a lovely escape at Fernmount. You felt very remote, and deep in the bush, but we’re a short drive to the conveniences of Bellingen. The kids had a fantastic time, hunting for frogs, possums and insects. Andy was a fantastic host, great communication through the whole process. It’s a lovely little slice of the world, and I hope to come back some time soon. Many thanks!

This magical little hideaway is a must for all nature lovers! Joshua is the perfect host, checking in to make sure you’re comfortable and very responsive to any questions. Great place to reconnect to self and unwind! We left feeling recharged and relaxed. Absolutely beautiful stay!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Stargazer. There is no comparison to the peace and quiet. Such beautiful surroundings and having everything you needed was awesome. We will definitely be back

A group of 6 of us stayed for 2 nights for a ladies weekend. It was beautiful, exactly like the pictures. It was comfortable and clean. It was a really hot weekend, but the house was lovely and cool. We spent a lot of time in the garden just talking. We walked down to wander the shops which were lovely. We had two delicious meals out as well. On the second day we opted to go out for lunch instead of dinner so that we could just settle in and stay and enjoy the beautiful garden into the evening with our drins and nibbles. Merrillee welcome to us when we arrived and provided home-made jams and butter to go with some croissant's that she left us. She also picked some fresh mulberries for us on our arrival. Made us feel so comfortable and was really thoughtful in leaving us to enjoy our weekend.

Lovely house perfect for three adult couples, one with 3 month old baby. Lizzy was very responsive with any questions. The property is immaculately presented. Supermarkets close by. Would happily stay again.

An amazing stay in Bonville! The house is beautifully designed, and bigger than we expected, set in beautiful gardens that go down to the creek. We watched a peaceful hare jump across the garden in the mornings and could hear the kookaburras in the evenings. It’s excellently located close to the beach as well as to the town of Bellingen and Dorrigo national park (would recommend the wonga walk, a 2 hour loop through the rainforest). The hosts were really friendly and responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay in Clunes! The house is set in a beautiful, peaceful location, surrounded by lush gardens that made us feel instantly relaxed. The open-plan living area is a great space for gathering, with a lovely fireplace and a well-equipped kitchen. The outdoor area is fantastic, especially the pool! We spent a lot of time relaxing by the water and enjoying the tropical surroundings. The cabana and fire pit were also perfect for evening hangouts. The bedrooms were all comfortable, the master suite was a real treat, with a beautiful ensuite and private veranda. We also appreciated the quality linens and thoughtful touches throughout the house. Everything is as beautiful, if not more, as described in the airbnb description. The location is ideal if you're looking for a quiet getaway, but still want to be close to places like Bangalow and Byron Bay. We found it to be a perfect place to unwind and recharge. We'd definitely recommend it!

Staying at Jo's retreat was the most peaceful, relaxing, beautiful stay. Tucked away in the rainforest, we could see and hear only rainforest in all directions. The garden and pond was full of butterflies, lizards and ducks, along with a visit from the chickens. We soaked in the calming atmosphere, laying on the sun lounger reading books and taking a lovely stroll to the waterfall at the top of the garden. The cottage is fully equipped so we could easily cook all our own meals. Jo also provided some lovely bread, milk, eggs and mushrooms, as well as plenty of pantry supplies, which was a lovely touch. It is a very short drive to cafes or walks/hikes. Jo was very helpful and accommodating when checking us in at the beginning of our stay, and very communicative leading up to our booking. We would definitely recommend staying here if you want a stress-free, relaxing getaway!

Excellent pet friendly accommodation. Warm and inviting space with very comfortable beds. Great place to stay while exploring the area.

This is a fantastic studio with an incredible blend of retro and industrial touches. It also boasts a full sized kitchen except for the mini fridge. It also has a great selection of DVDs to pick from that we couldnt help but to contribute to, to help fill out the collection even more. The studio is 5 minute walk from the main street so its a quiet location while remaining close to the centre of town. Quite possibly the perfect location for staying in Bellingen. Highly recommend

Ann and Clive’s home is extremely spacious and very comfortable and clean. They are wonderful hosts and very communicative. The property is surrounded by bushland and is lovely and quiet, the nearby beaches are beautiful. The self contained flat inside their home is well appointed and private. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfect stay for our little family. Close to heaps of amenities like shops, restaurants and attractions. Supermarket is in the same complex, which is amazing for last minute food decisions for a young family.

My Husband and I loved our stay. The place was clean and felt so peaceful and calm and was exactly what we needed to get away somewhere quiet and new. Our dog also loved playing with David & Emily's 3 dogs and going for a swim in the little lake/dam! Lots of dog friendly options nearby and lots of great food places too. There is also a nice little walk on the property as well (15-20 mins each way) that we loved doing each morning. The stars from the spa and fire were spectacular and a memory we will cherish forever. Great selection of little games to play and great basic things provided that we didn't want to buy when cooking (tea, coffee, salt & pepper etc). Thank you for a great stay, we will definitely be back!

Kevin and Robbie we're very kind and generous hosts. Their cabin was beautiful and cosy, with everything you would need. We were unlucky with the weather, and on the last night Bellingen and glenifer had a fairly large power outage for a couple of hours. Kevin very generously brought over a plate full of food for us, including a couple of slices of homemade banana bread and muffins so that we were able to eat something for dinner :) He also made sure to let us know about flooding in Bellingen, and alternative routes to take if the bridge went under, which was very helpful and kind. it was a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend Kevin and Robbie's place :)

Peta’s tiny home was absolutely beautiful. The house was spotless and the fairy lights and outdoor setting were a magical touch. We felt right at home, it was so quiet and peaceful being out so close to nature. We loved being able to walk around the property and explore. It was a perfect stop over during our busy travels. The retreat was the perfect place to stay for a weekend getaway - we loved the tranquility of the private back garden and firepit, and the interior was gorgeous. You can tell a lot of time and effort went into providing guests with the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The hosts were also friendly and informative, and we hope to come back sometime soon!

I can’t speak highly enough of Never Never Cabin, it’s the most amazing, beautiful, peaceful place 🤩 Gorgeous views, garden teeming with playful birds, super comfy bed, pristine private swimming spot. Karlee and Jason included so many thoughtful touches, from bouquets of fresh herbs and flowers, to binoculars for birdwatching. Definitely a place you’ll be wanting to return to!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Acute Abode. It exceeded our expectations, truly one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed. It looks exactly like the photos (if not better) and the property is incredibly peaceful and quiet.
