Discover the Gold Coast from Designer Guesthouse

Open the door to this inviting sanctuary complete with dramatic views from the floor to ceiling windows and wraparound balcony. The interior boasts sumptuous yet modern furnishings set on polished cement floors with eye-catching art on the walls. If this property is unavailable for your dates please see my other designer apartment https://www.airbnb.com.au/rooms/589021821836617860?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=8e9a9ee2-92f9-4984-8777-a4af21f71afa The apartment is truly unique and has been featured in various architecture books and magazines. Entirely surrounded by glass, the bathrooms and service spaces are open plan with the ability to close them off completely creating internal cubes within the house. Living in this house is a spectacular experience! There is on site parking on the ground floor. The apartment is located on the first floor and is part of two separate living pavilions. Family members live in the other pavilion about 15 metres away from the apartment. One of my trusted friends will check you in and answer any questions. I am always available through Airbnb messages if anything pops up! The apartment is located in the Mudgeeraba hills overlooking the Gold Coast. It is a short drive to the beach and less than an hour to the waterfalls of Tambourine Mountain, Springbrook National Park and Lamington National Park. We’re located in the hinterland so you’ll need a car to get around. You will see the sunrise and sunset even if the blinds are down! As we are surrounded by trees sometimes the local birds can be a bit noisy in the mornings. The house is self sufficient and uses 100% collected rainwater and a bio wastage system. We ask that you try not to waste water and that you avoid using harmful products that could damage the bio-waste system. Thank you!

Top things to do in Broadbeach

Kurrawa Beach

With its golden sand and clear waters Kurrawa Beach is one of the Gold Coast’s finest beaches. It’s also known for being one of its safest, with calmer waters than others on the coast, which are patrolled every day by lifeguards. The beach is overlooked by numerous shops and cafes, and a children’s playground. If you’re feeling active you can try kitesurfing or play beach volleyball, and Kurrawa also offers great surfing conditions.

Cascade Gardens

Cascade Gardens is one of the Gold Coast’s most favoured picnic and barbecue spots. Located by the river, it offers a peaceful and scenic sanctuary, with a large playground for children to enjoy. The gardens also feature serene rainforest walks, including the Kokoda Memorial Walk. The Kokoda Memorial was created to honor the soldiers who fought on the Kokoda Track in Papua New Guinea during World War II.

The Broadbeach Art and Craft Markets

Discover the Broadbeach Art and Craft Markets in Kurrawa Park on the first and third Sunday of every month. The location is spectacular right on the beachfront in Broadbeach, with more than 150 market stalls selling handmade fashion and jewellery, homewares, skincare, toys, fresh produce, cakes and treats, as well as unique gifts and souvenirs you probably won’t find in typical retail shops.
