Guesthouse holiday rentals in Christchurch

Thank you for hosting us Felicia, we had a wonderful stay. The studio was clean, tidy, and well stocked with pots, pans, microwave, two burner electric portable, cooking element and on bench convection oven. Only thing missing was a hair dryer. Your communication was prompt, spot-on, and extremely helpful with information, such as places to eat, walks in the area and how to get to /from Littleton to see the lovely markets on the Saturday morning. The TV Chromecast was useful and enabled us to watch our Netflix at night. The views from the studio across Banks Peninsula Bay was spectacular, and it was wonderful to see the lights across the harbour. of Littleton at night. It was really special being amongst the lovely surroundings of trees and hearing/seeing the birdlife. Only thing I’d note to future travellers of the area is there is limited places to eat out,two places I would recommend are two thumbs brewery & Orton Park Cafe. Thanks again, I’d love to return. Robyn and Peter were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. Their lovely unit was clean, comfortable, and warm, with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. I especially appreciated Robyn's flexibility with our very late check-in. We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we visit this beautiful city

Sue & Greg's place was so relaxing after a long day of driving in the rain. The bed in the enclosed bedroom was so comfortable. We were grateful for food when we arrived and the homemade quiche, muffins, and rhubarb for breakfast. Breakfast also included toast, granola, yogurt, cereal, milk, fruit, tea, and coffee. I wish we could bring our kids and grandkids and swim/hot tub.

Great venue! Gayle was very welcoming and communicative. We appreciated her assistance sorting a wee issue out before we arrived. We would definitely stay again.

Dave was a very helpful host and the place was exactly as described and located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac. There are two natural areas close by, plus the river. Palms mall with a grocery store was 25 min walk. If you don't like walking or don't have a vehicle perhaps not right for you, but I loved getting my steps in through the parks and taking the bus. Would absolutely stay again.

Absolutely stunning location with the most amazing views. Easy to get into town for doing touristy things, eating and drinking. Good walking tracks too. Jozefa is very friendly and helpful and Nick the dog greets you when you arrive and leave too!! I recommend staying in this cosy flat 100%.

Ideal location for flying in and out of Christchurch airport. Sharon’s place was stylist and cosy with lots of extra special touches! Would highly recommend

This was the perfect spot for me on a solo trip out of Auckland for Matariki weekend! The property is on the outskirts of Christchurch but near enough to drive in for shopping, food, activities, etc. They have a lovely dog (Kip), and the airbnb itself was very clean and tidy. The heat pump and light was left on for my arrival late on Saturday night which was so appreciated as it was cold and dark. Really cute little spot and very private despite being on the host property. Definitely recommend for a solo or couple!

We loved our stay in Samantha’s home. Lovely peaceful space, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Great location with restaurants and cafes nearby. We hope to return soon!

Amazing little unit on the hill great base for anyone riding bikes in the hills. Very gracious hosts and easy to get to. Would book again 10/10

Loved my couple of nights at Mike’s place. Very well set up, peaceful and pristine in a very safe and quiet location. Really appreciated the little things provided so I didn’t have to traipse to shops for milk and cereal etc. I would definitely recommend his place for a stay in Christchurch. Would also recommend a trip to Sumner… I caught the public bus and had a stroll along the beach and up the Flowers Track.

Second time I’ve stayed here at Mitchelle’s as it’s a handy location for me during travels, super clear instructions and a cosy crib to lay your head. Thanks a bunch!

It was great! Perfect for 2 people and we had everything we needed for 1 night. Romantic for a night away with the partner and it feels private enough without actually being too far from their main house, we felt safe and secure.

Had a really relaxing stay at Fabricio's. Loved the private unit, the net was great to relax and watch a film from, open patio doors let the sun in. Fabricio was friendly and helpful.

Incredible stay, a real hidden gem just out side of Christchurch. Bronwyn is the most amazing host and has created such a lovely experience at their winery. 100% recommend staying here!

The cottages here are great! I stayed for one night when my travel plans changed last minute and it was a great way to get a private room and good amenities for a great price. Couldn’t recommend enough!

It's a comfy, clean, quiet & well-organised living space with a small & perfectly adequate bathroom. Everything opens onto a beautiful garden & the fridge is a few paces away. Kathy & Ian are open, warm & welcoming people with a beautiful house. They make breakfast for you & they have a lifetime of superb travel memories & beautiful objects. The shopping centre & cafes are a healthy walk away but thus isn't any big deal. Strongly recommended, especially if you're at all interested in Asian & Pacific travel, art & culture.

Great place for short or long stays. Leah was a lovely and attentive host. The garden is beautiful in summer so it was lovely to just relax in our little oasis. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone. Thanks again Leah!

Naomi is so accommodating and such a great communicator. she has helped me out on two separate occasions for my parents to stay for 2 separate family weddings a year apart and really has no idea how much it helped us being able to have them and their fur babies hosted. thanks heaps guys!

Staying at Hiroshi and Kayori’s guesthouse for four nights was a great experience. The space was clean, well-organized, and provided all the essentials one would expect from quality accommodation. The nights were quiet, and the location was convenient—close to both the university and the airport. Hiroshi and Kayori were polite and thoughtful hosts, checking in on our needs several times during the stay. Their lovely spoodle, Pongo, was also friendly and playful. We came to Christchurch for my graduation ceremony, and the stay added joy to our time here. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Christchurch.
