The kindest hosts - we had last minute changes to our plans and they were more than happy to accomodate them. The workshop is breathtaking, more so than what pictures may show. It was also well equipped and at a very convenient area. Honestly wish we had made their place our base for our 5 day stay. Could not get enough of the views and comfortable bed and couch. Would love to stay again!!

Mieke is very warm, welcoming and responsive. The space is a comfortable and private little cottage in really inspiring and peaceful surrounds. An extra note for solo women travellers: I often have solo getaways in regional / remote places and the balance between solitude and safety can be hard to strike. This place is the sweet spot. You can shut out the world and feel far from anywhere, but with Mieke out and about in her garden etc most days, the solitude never reaches eerie / creepy level! The Mill Cottage is perfect! The location is great. We spent some days enjoying picturesque Richmond and other days visiting Eaglehawk Neck, Chauncy Vale, kunanyi and Maria Island. The cottage is very beautiful with lovely decor, high quality linen and lovely surroundings. It had all the facilities we needed for a 9-night stay. Rob and Susan are amazing hosts. We felt welcomed from the very beginning. It was easy to contact them if needed but the cottage was very private at all other times. Susan and Rob are so generous with their welcome basket and the extras we received because of our long stay. Overall, a phenomenal place to stay!

A great place to stay to explore the surrounds of Hobart and Hobart itself while having the peace and quiet of a country setting. Natasha and her family are lovely and the loft has the comforts of home. We enjoyed the view out of the window and also sitting outside on the patio and garden on a warm evening. The bed was super comfy and there were lots of little extras supplied like bread, spreads, cereals, milk, fruit etc. We would definitely return here if we are ever back in the area.

We had a wonderful time in the Boat House. The views are amazing, it’s very nice and quiet and the house is exactly as described. We would definitely book it again!

We loved our stay in the loft! It had everything we required with some nice extras left for us, which were greatly appreciated. Mel is a great host who communicates promptly. We felt like the loft was a perfect stay for our time in Hobart.

This was our second stay at Werndee Cottage, and we enjoyed our stay. The little courtyard is great for a quiet, relaxing time. The cottage is spacious, the bed very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped if guests wish to cook for themselves. Robyn is a lovely host.

This Airbnb was nice and cosy, everything was as described. Great price, and good location to get around Hobart and surrounds. Private and peaceful after long days exploring. I would recommend this to anyone looking for accommodation with everything you need while travelling on a budget!

This place and the hosts were a 12/10! The air bnb itself was gorgeous and had an incredible view with awesome amenities. The hosts, Pip and Pete were THE BEST. So kind and accommodating. We loved sauna-ing and swimming in the pool. It was dreamy. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return in the future!

One of the nicest Airbnbs we have ever stayed in! 100% recommendation! Kaye and Tom are great hosts who were easily accessible and surprised us with snacks and drinks. Which was the cherry on the cake for us, we really appreciated it. But also the location is great, we would come back anytime.

Charming and comfortable property in lovely natural surroundings 15 minutes from Hobart Airport. We only had one night as we were collecting family from the airport but would have happily stayed longer. Very peaceful area with access to beaches and walks. Opportunities for birdwatching and visiting mammals. Well-appointed with all necessary facilities. Friendly and helpful host.

Very easy check in, paths lit up making it easy to find our way to the studio. Their dogs Fin and Maisie are so beautiful and fun to spend time with. Modern and spacious bathroom with rainshower shower head. We appreciate the bottle of organic fruit juice and sparkling water provided - felt luxurious! Absolutely lovely place to stay, we walked into Richmond easily, had a picnic by the bridge one day, using the picnic hamper and blanket provided; beautiful linens, comfortable bed, superb coffee machine, definitely one of the best airbnb s we’ve ever stayed in- and we’ve stayed in a lot!

The hosts have thought of everything, and this was such a lovely couple of nights away from the hustle and bustle of city life, whilst I was on the road for work this week. Super easy commute to the city each morning, and a peaceful sleep in a quiet country town both nights.

We had a lovely four day stay at Michaela’s gorgeous hideaway. It was equipped with everything we needed and we particularly loved the verandah looking onto the treed garden. There are an abundance of local restaurants and eateries and the Hill street Grocer only 5 minutes walk away. Definitely recommend.

What a find... Tracey's place at Acton Place is a real gem. The location is great, being only 20 mins from the CBD, 5 mins from the airport and beaches and an easy drive to the lovely historic town of Richmond. The house has all that's needed for a comfy stay and is very clean and tidy and good value for money. Plus there was a load of yummy treats in the pantry and fridge. All communication with Tracey was clear, friendly and helpful and she met us on arrival which was a nice personal touch. Plus we got to meet Daisy the dog. Thank you Tracey for a great stay!

We loved our stay in sandy bay! The location is unbeatable in Hobart especially for some day trips to national parks. The guest house felt private and well taken care of and was extremely clean and comfortable. Prue as a host was great. She gave us some awesome local recommendations and was responsive during our stay. I’d definitely recommend to any friends coming to Hobart!

Emma’s place is a slice of heaven. It was the perfect getaway from work and metro hullabaloo. She is a very kind and helpful host. You have to be there to believe the jaw dropping views. Worth it!
