Welcome to The Burrows, a 1860's stone cottage that has been sensitively restored to open up the house to take in the expansive views over Freycinet peninsula. A large living space is the heart of the home with a wood fire at one end, feather sofa , armchairs and a custom made window seat overlooking Great Oyster Bay. Elangu is a spacious family friendly house with fully equipped kitchen and large lounge area. a moderate yard for the children to run around in and alfresco area with gas BBQ. just across the yard there is a children play ground for them to enjoy. Sandpiper beach is only a few minute walk along the beach track and you are there to enjoy Great oyster bay. Freycinet National Park is only 5 min by car where you can enjoy the walk to Wineglass Bay or just explore the region from this great base.

Beautiful home in fantastic location right on the beach front of Coles Bay. The house has a very fresh, relaxed atmosphere. Great spot for the family or couples to stay. The host provides great local recommendations and is very helpful. Lovely basket of treats on arrival as well which added a lovely touch! I would highly recommend staying here. :-)

Wow. Shane's place exceeded our expectations. What a great place to relax and explore Bicheno and Freycinet. A morning walk along the nearby beach and friendly neighbours (the sheep) added to this wonderful stay. I would definitely stay here again next time I am in this area.

A wonderful place and a great area. Close to beach/park and 20 minute walk to shops. Great outdoor area with fire pit and bbq indoor area was big and comfy for a large group. Missed a dryer or outside clothesline but mainly cause we had 6 adults, a toddler and 8 month old twins 😂

The view is expansive, astonishing and better than the photos!! The sea shore is a short walk down and is great for swimming. We saw a huge ray in the sand, seals swimming and there are always birds soaring. The sunsets are incredible. We really enjoyed all the outdoor seating and spent most of our time on the patio. Freycinet Nat Park is a short drive away with great hiking and world-class beaches that are stunning. The house has everything you’d need and is very bright, inviting, comfortable and cozy. Meika was a great and generous host. We highly recommend!!
