Holiday rentals with breakfast in West Hobart

Staying at Christiane’s place was a wonderful experience for us. High up with the most beautiful view, peaceful, stunning night sky. The accommodation was spotless, very well equipped with a great collection of books, art and games. The welcome and generous hospitality was second to none. Thank you!

We loved our short stay in this lovely house. Freya has thought of everything to make this accommodation cozy and practical for travelers. We appreciated the provision of breakfast with fresh products and lots of information about activities to do in Tasmania. Beyond that, Freya is welcoming and attentive to the well-being of her guests. We would have liked to stay one more night but unfortunately the house is already booked several nights in a row. Her success doesn't even surprise me and is deserved! Thanks again Freya :)

The house was perfect and met all our needs. It was beautiful inside and Steph and Matt have created a wonderful homey environment away from home. Providing bread, milk and other supplies was so convenient. The garden and cubby house was perfect for our 4 year old son, with a safe enclosed yard. It’s close to the city and there are great couple of take away places nearby. Thanks again ☺️

Stunning views, tranquil surrounds, lots of space, fully stocked pantry and kitchen. Loved the wildlife. Stephen is a great host and communicated promptly. Easy access to Huon Valley, Bruny Island and Hobart surrounds. Would gladly stay again!

Outstanding! You will not be disappointed. Every year five of us girls get together to celebrate two of our birthdays, and this would have to be the best by far! The spa is an absolute hit, we definitely made the most of it. This house has absolutely everything you need and felt like home… it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. All the beds were comfortable, and warm. And the bread, milk and continental breakfast was a lovely touch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Ben's place is a stunning modern property with great views down the river towards Hobart. The house catches the sunrise and is surrounded by natural areas from which wallabies and padamelons emerge at dawn and dusk. The home is extremely well-specified and equipped with everything you need for a great stay. Within 20 minutes of Hobart CBD and 5 minutes from MONA, the home is also well-located. A property that is a treat to come back to after a day's sightseeing. Highly recommended.

This is the second time I have stayed it’s a great location View to the mountain while eating breakfast is fantastic but no snow this trip hoping for dusting of snow next trip in may enjoy the walk to the supermarket ( 5 mins ) What can you say the pinball machines keep you busy great father and son activity Once again many thanks tony always available for help if you need it

Just want to thank Eve for making her cosy barn an easy and enjoyable place to stay. She made us feel very welcome with fresh fruit and food for breakfast. Great location, within walking distance of Hobart's small CBD.

Macy is the perfect host- while we didn't actually get to meet in person, she was extremely lovely and helpful in all of her communication... and super quick in responding as well! The place is absolutely adorable and felt like a cosy home as soon as we walked in- just gorgeous! The apartment has everything you could possibly need (for stays of any lengths)... and so much more. It is lovingly set up, very modern and new, with countless extras provided,. We were just sad we didn't get around to sample the yummy looking bread. I highly recommend Macy's place- if you are staying in South Hobart, look no further! Thank you so much🤎

Lovely apartment, very cute decorations everywhere - open, yet cozy. The kitchen was fully prepared with spices, oils, butter, various teas, everything that we could need.

I loved Yvette’s place! It is so cute inside, with a nice view and interesting art. Great selection of things to cook with and breakfast/snacks were provided which was a nice touch :) Host was also very friendly and welcoming.

An absolutely perfect experience and stay! Anja and Damien are so warm and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. I felt my space and privacy was respected, but also that I could shout out if I needed anything. The space is incredible - bright and airy, with lovely views and the best window seat to read and nap in the sun. The place was immaculately clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect and quiet. Thank you so much for having me, I can’t wait to come back!

I stayed in Carmel's AirBnB for 3 weeks and it was great!! This apartment is really nice and comfortable with a lot of space and everything you need - small kitchen, washing machine, ... From the apartment one has an amazing view over the city and it is quite there. The location of the apartment is also nice as there is a bus station very close and a lot of things (Mount Nelson, Long Beach and the University of Tasmania) are within walking distance. Carmel is a great host - really helpful and nice and she always answers really fast if you have any questions! :-) I would definitely come again if I am again coming to Hobart!

This was a great very clean apartment near everything and it had almost everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the shower was awesome. We were able to make meals in the kitchen. The cons: No breakfast, portable fan, laundry detergent, all the white towels were stained but clean and no communications from our host Amanda during our 3 nights stay. The apartment is up for sale. We did enjoy our stay and everything was very clean, but wanted to give advice to the next guests.

We had a fantastic stay. The welcome pack Hilary provided was far more than we expected and we thoroughly enjoyed the use of her garden for herbs, vegetables and eggs. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. It’s a great location, reasonably central yet very little road noise. Excellent local supermarket 100m away. Hilary was free with advice when we asked and left us to ourselves when we wanted privacy. I highly recommend Macquarie Street Stable.

Loved staying in Barbara’s beautiful accommodation. We loved exploring their beautiful garden and sitting next to their creek. Was so grateful for the fresh bread Barbara had made for us. Wonderful spot to stay if you’re thinking about doing a day trip to Bruny Island!

Wonderful. The appartment is stunning, in a gorgeous historic house, located in a beautiful neighbourhood with a very nice view. Walkable distance from the heart of Hobart. Everything is very high quality. We wished we could stay more !

Donna is a great host! The accommodation is superb, the views over the Derwent estuary just beautiful. Donna was available to chat to, and yet we had plenty of privacy. Highly recommended.

It is a real AIRBNB, Mark lives there, it is his house. He knows how to remain very discreet and makes us feel very comfortable in his house. He was very helpful, and friendly. He knows very well Tasmania. Perfect stay.

Penny has a beautiful home, and is very friendly and helpful while giving you your space. We would absolutely stay again.

Sue and Roger were absolutely fantastic hosts: went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The ambience of the heritage listed house was amazing, the light and refreshing breakfasts superb, and the conversations and local insights very helpful. Thank you so much - we will be back!
