Beautiful place to stay and relax, the animals are gorgeous and friendly, the perfect spot to unwind. Perfect for animal and nature lovers! Will definitely be staying again next time we travel to the area. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Rebecca's was brilliant! The property itself is set in a magical location with local wildlife right on the doorstep. We loved the spa bath on the balcony overlooking the beautiful scenery, and having a private BBQ to use is a nice touch. The location is ideal to explore the Great Ocean Road with things to experience right on your doorstep and further afield. We would highly recommend Rebecca's place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

We had a great experience staying at this cozy cabin. The gravel road leading up to it was a bit rough, but manageable. The peaceful isolation and forest surroundings were exactly what we were looking for, providing a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. One of the highlights was seeing alpacas in the morning, which was a fun and unique experience. The fireplace added to the cozy atmosphere, and while the cabin isn’t luxurious, it has all the essentials you need for a relaxing weekend getaway. We did notice the water in the spa was a little cloudy and came across a few spiders in the cabin, but nothing too unexpected for a place in the woods. A nice touch was the collection of board games, which we really enjoyed playing. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and a great spot for those looking to unplug and unwind.

We LOVED our stay at Fiona’s place. Such a gorgeous cottage and well fitted space. We loved the garden especially, the great big outdoor table drenched in sunlight and the girls loved the spa (when we got the temperature right!) we enjoyed some fresh fruit from the tree. Everything was a treat. We can’t wait to return again to lovely PF and will indeed recommend Fiona’s place to friends.

Rozi was a wonderful host and really ensured our comfort was at the forefront. The house was clean, tidy and as described. The space was perfect for a cute little weekend getaway and my partner and I were really able to make ourselves comfortable easily. We particularly enjoyed the Spa and the mountain views from the windows. Would definitely recommend staying here for the weekend!

A wonderful quite secluded Cabin amongst natural bushland and wildlife such as wallabies and native birds. only 10min walk to the beach. Enjoyed having a charcoal BBQ in the undercover verandah and wood heater warmed the place up nicely. Will definitely be staying again in the future.

Normally, when you book a place to stay, it's an expectation that the pictures will make it look slightly better than it is. Which is why I was surprised that this place is EVEN BETTER THAN IT LOOKS IN THE PICTURES. What really struck me was how stunning the green surroundings were, which were visible through large windows in every room. The fireplace and dark green walls also give it a cozy ambience. All in all, when I think about "cabin in the rainforest", this place is exactly the ideal I'm picturing. One of the things we really liked was the fact that we had access, steps away, to what was essentially a private rainforest. There was a beautiful tree-fringed billabong that our dog would have swum in if it had been warmer, there were glow-worms at night, and apparently even a platypus (though we didn't see it ourselves). And all of this was all ours to enjoy exclusively. Kim was friendly and communicative. Cannot say enough good things!

Kristen’s place was a lovely choice for a little getaway. A short distance from the beach, and all you could need. It was a delight to come home from exploring and to just relax in the pool, or the spa. Looking forward to staying again at some point.

great place to stay

Such a beautiful home with great decor. Really felt at home and was perfect. Fur babies had everything that required with water bowls and secure rear yard very private. Fornt decking was great and also secured. Very clean and tidy and Joanne was so welcoming.. Joanna has thought of everything.. thank you again..

This cottage was just what we were looking for! Quiet and tucked away but still extremely close to Bells Beach. We woke up every morning with kangaroos in the pasture outside the cottage. The home was very clean, had wonderful furnishings, and all the elements for a wonderful stay. The hosts were very communicative and check in/out was seamless. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway in Bells!

We had a great time. Penny is a great host and the place is great for exploring the peninsula. The location is perfect, only minutes walk to all the amenities including a local library, cinema, various shops and lovely beaches. Our puppy loved going to the beach and played in the water. Penny’s place is great value for money. The people in town were just so friendly to us. I highly recommend Penny’s place.

Absolutely loved our stay! Photos does not do this place any justice. It is beautiful inside and out, set in a peaceful and quiet location. Perfect space for our fur-babies. Thoughtful treats left for us, included dog treats, juice, wine and chocolates. Would definitely recommend 👍

Helen was great host. An excellent communicator. The cottage is perfect as a base to explore the area with a secure space for the dog. I would stay there again if I needed somewhere close to Canberra and outlying areas. It was very peaceful

this place is amazing... rustic and old world cosy. we absolutely loved it, and one of the cheapest places in venus bay... dont tell the owners.

Our stay at Kate’s cottage was amazing! The place was so peaceful and beautiful. The view of the farm and the animals was something else and the animals were so friendly and greeted us every morning .. the sunset from the farm was beautiful… we even managed to see a couple of kangaroos .. my little one was having the time of his life … the cottage itself is very cozy and warm .. it’s spacious and clean .. there’s lots to do and see in the area around the farm as well .. Kate was also very responsive and friendly .. will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful little cottage, very simple, basic amenities which is what we prefer when going on holiday with our two young kids. Minimal walking distance to beach, easy parking and walk into town. Really nice stay…

This little cottage was absolutely perfect and highly recommend to anyone staying around Mornington!! Geoff was and amazing host and so responsive and helpful.

We had a wonderful stay at Sue/Tony’s place, it exceeded our expectations. We definitely want to come back and explore the area more, as we didn’t get to see everything this time. We highly recommend this place!

Lovely location to stay if you want to explore South Gippsland esp Wilsons Prom:) I really enjoyed the stay over the long weekend - peaceful surroundings and homey environment. Lisa is very responsive and offers very great advice around local cafes - I really love it!! Definitely would love to book again in future:)

Lovely place with great amenities. As it is on a main road through Binalong, noise from trucks disturbed the peace somewhat but there was very little traffic after 10pm.

Great stay. Much better than the pictures and lots of extras. Loved the recliner chairs, gas fireplace and comfortable bed at night, and the sunny porch, birds in the garden and luxurious pool in the day. Lovely walk along the river into town. Nice, helpful hosts who lived quietly and separately in the back section of the house.
