Great location, perfect home with all needed amenities. Rene and Jo both were helpful and kind. Lake hawea is one the best lakes we have witnessed and having this cozy, clean, minimalistic place made our stay very memorable. Thanks Jo and Rene.

What a cool spot, and Fiona had made a lot of effort to put little homey touches throughout. Killer location, easy to get to, and very quiet and peaceful. Would recommend to anyone.

We absolutely loved staying here! It was so beautiful, clean and peaceful. We walked over to see the chickens (because I love chickens!) and ran into Rosanna and her family - they were so warm, welcoming and friendly - we had some great chats and they kindly gave us some fresh eggs! Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we needed a little extra time in the morning to check out - thankfully Rosanna was super understanding and accommodated this for us. <3 11/10 - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Angela was wonderfully welcoming and helpful to my daughter and her friend who are backpacking around South Island. She offered ideas of things to do, offered them to use her bikes and kayaks, even allowed them to use her washing machine. She could not have done more to make them feel at home and welcome. Thank you Angela - we hope to be back one day!
