Holiday houses in Te Anau

Wow! This was by far the best airbnb I have had. Doug and Sharyn clearly love this home and have thought of everything to make your stay homey and relaxing. We got the pleasure of spending Christmas here and got to enjoy the beautiful views while playing pool.

Stunning home and decor, 5* in every way. We had an infant with us, the highchair, toys and portacot were so handy, there was no need to bring anything. One of the nicest AirBnBs that I’ve stayed in. Thank you.

Lovely modern and extremely well appointed home in new modern subdivision of Te Anau. One can walk into town in about 20 minutes. Walkable to lake, and fantastic for morning or evening jogs around the lake (there are excellent bike and running paths). Kitchen is well equipped, everything has been considered. So nice to arrive at a property to find it spotless and little extras added in the kitchen. Its so peaceful here and the beds are of very good quality. Easy parking off the street. Bathrooms are well appointed and are of good size. Would comfortably accommodate 4-6 people as living areas are huge. We had a wonderful stay here and so easy to drive on to Milford Sound from the house. Thank you so much for hosting us.

Rachel and her family were lovely hosts to us! The apartment was very well done and very comfortable and clean. Nespresso for morning coffee provided along with milk, muesli, fruit, and yogurt which was so wonderful. Easy check in. Very short walk to town. Easy to get on the road to Milford sound. Can’t miss with this place!

Stunning location looking over the lake, right by walking paths lakeside and into town. Grab this place if you can!

Linda’s place was a prefect location for our trips to Milford & Doubtful Sounds, and the view across Lake Manapouri was amazing. Linda was very responsive and helpful. We had a very minor emergency one evening and Linda rallied a couple folks in town to help us out. True Kiwi hospitality! I highly recommend Linda’s place for visits to the Fjorldlands Nat’l Park area.

Leon's home is an older building but beautifully set up with everything you need for a short or long stay. Would suit a family with children. We are a family of four adults and found the home to be spacious and fairly close to all that Te Anau had to offer.

Amazing location and very nice home. Excellent communication. Thoughtfully decorated. Very clean kitchen and bathrooms, but some minor stains on the furniture / bedding. AC is in the living room, rooms get a bit warm during the day and can’t open windows due to bugs. Fans are provided. Not a big issue. If I could spend all night in the spa / Hot tub watching the stars I would. ;-)

Amazing view from the living room. Host provided detailed instructions for check-in. Note the air-conditioning is only in the living room. Great that the 3 bedrooms had a fan and heater each. Apartment is spacious and fully equipped. I appreciate the complimentary snacks and sweets provided by the host. Very comfortable stay.
