Oscar's place is perfect, everything is super clean, the place is very comfortable the quick direction to get there. Oscar very attentive would be at his house again.

We had an excellent stay here. Our hosts kindly gave us a tour of the pond and helped us find lots of wildlife! We saw a few different types of frogs, including the beautiful tree frog. Don Alexis also gave us a tour of his antique collection which was cool to see! Beautiful sunset 😁

Great place. Just like in the pictures. Outside the center of La Fortuna but very close if you want to move to enjoy different activities. A very quiet and private place. Very safe. Great hosts, very friendly and respond right away.

Carlos did not only provide us with an amazing and comfortable home, he was also so responsive and was happy to assist with any recommendations we had outside of his airbnb. He went above and beyond and would highly recommend staying in this comfy home.

Our family had a wonderful stay here! We had plenty of space for 2 adults and 3 kids (ages 10, 13, 15). The house has a beautiful view of the volcano and we loved the horse next door. Parking was secure and easy. Randall sent us detailed instructions on how to get in, and when there was a minor issue with the house he fixed it very quickly. I would absolutely stay here again! As others have mentioned, only the bedrooms are air conditioned and the living room can be opened up to the outside - no screens. I worried that this would get buggy but it did not. We also used the washer and that was very easy. Also, we cooked a few meals and had everything that we needed. We enjoyed time at Baldi Hot Springs (we went when they opened but came home for a rest after lunch, then returned), Two Little Monkeys Chocolate Tour, and Proyecto Asis. This house is in a super convenient location - highly recommend!

This place is a must stay. And I would recommend it even more if it is your first time to Costa Rica (more on this later). The house is in a private, gated community, but is well secluded and private. The pool and patio area are serene and amazing for nighttime views of an unfiltered sky surrounded by the sounds of all the animals. It is close to so many restaurants, and the beach. Chris is an amazing host (he is the key for a first time to Costa Rica) He was in constant contact about places to go, things to do, and what makes them great. With his guidance we were able to have an incredible week filled with amazing food, sunsets and as much Costa Rican culture as we could fit it. And all of it is located within a few miles of the house (much of it walkable if you’re so inclined). Definitely would stay again!

Excellent accommodation, everything the place had, very clean and organized

I thought the price was more than fair. We took surf lessons by walking 2 minutes from his house to the beach where lessons were available. I felt safe and the proximity to downtown Jaco was great. You are away from the main area by a 2 minute drive, which was perfect for us as it was a bit quieter. The apartment is stocked well, clean and the gate provided a sense of security.

Home was beautiful and had the best backyard and pool space for our relaxation. We grilled our dinner several times and enjoyed the shower and bathroom outside. great space inside for our needs. Beautiful.

Amazing place. We stayed there, working remotely and enjoying Costa Rica for a month or so. First, the host's support was out of this world. They would answer our questions and fix them within the same day. It was quite impressive. Now, the house. Great 3-stories house. Amazing pool. (beware, it's not a warm jacuzzi tho) The view of the jungle was breathtaking. Great amenities, clean house, and cleaning team for the pool and house were great. However, since this house is on top of a little hill, I am not sure we could have come to it without an SUV. Finally, the location was great. 5 mins from Villareal. 13 mins from Tamarindo. Close enough, but far enough in the jungle, we felt at peace, away from the noise and busyness of the city. Overall, I recommend it, and I will come back for sure! This place was great for remote workers, with office chairs and desks in every room.

As always staying at Jan's place is a great experience. We had a great time and the house is comfortable, clean, private and safe. Can't recommend it enough

We had a great stay at MarBlau. The host and admin were very responsive and fixed minor things very quickly. They also gifted us a bottle of bubble for NYE and were super friendly overall. The place was clean and private and the pool was a delight. Overall, make sure to come with an SUV due to the road conditions and you'll have a great time here!

Ideal location, right in the heart of everything in Tamarindo, you call it restaurants, beach, supermarket, coffee shops, gym… The apartment if extremely well kept, surroundings are beautiful. Alexander and Gabriela are very friendly and helpful. Very fast internet for digital nomads. I recommend it to the Airbnb community 100 %

Daniela is an excellent host who was always attentive to everything, the place is incredible with a really relaxing pool and jacuzzi, you can appreciate birds from a viewpoint with hammocks for use by her guests. We will definitely be back.

House was fantastic, area was great and close to many activities, restaurants and the beach. Pool was amazing and house was exactly as shown in the photos. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in Playa Herradura.

Everything was amazing!! Diane and Neal were super friendly and helpful with great recommendations. The pool was very refreshing and had an amazing view of Lago Arenal. Definitely one of the nicest places we've stayed!! Highly recommended!

Very good location, central location. Spacious and according to needs

This home was perfect for our stay with 3 adults and 3 children. The private pool was great, kitchen had everything we needed. Take the drive up to the top of the world community which is incredible and we had it to ourselves both times we went! I would definitely stay here again if I came to Costa Rica again. We went to Diamante Eco park to see all the animals- highly recommend, and ate a delicious lunch at a very unique spot called the monkey bar not far from the Airbnb or Diamante! Check it out for sure!

Absolutely beautiful place right up on the hill, amazing sunrise view and quiet location. This cabin has lots of character, and is well equipped for a peaceful retreat. Comfortable bed, clean, thoughtful design, surrounded by nature and great view of the ocean. Host was very nice and proactive, and responded quickly to my various queries. I will return again !

Eugenia’s house was perfect for our family of 11. As part of the hotel we received amazing assistance from the concierge booking our excursions. Daily breakfast is included which was a great bonus. Location is close to beaches, groceries and restaurants.

My wife, our friend and I spent a very enjoyable six days at this lovely home. Tanyia and Rod are extremely responsive, caring, attentive, helpful, and friendly hosts. The remote location of the home (about 4 km and 13 minutes down an unpaved road to the little town of Tronadora and another 15 minutes and 11 km over paved roads to the closest city Tilaran) required a bit of planning and added immensely to the charm. We enjoyed some of our best nature viewing (monkeys, toucans and other birds) right in our yard and on the beautiful Vistas Del Lago property. We had a couple of power outages in the middle of the night, but they didn’t adversely affect our stay. Tanyia and Rod were also very responsive and helpful when we had a couple of issues with the hot water. Each unit in the home is comfortable for relaxing and sleeping. All in all, we had a wonderfully unique stay with Tanyia and Rod at this lovely home.

Nice place to stay to enjoy without going out.
