This was a destination in itself. When it was clear ( not too often during our stay) the view of Volcan Arenal was magnificent from the wonderful porch. There was some unexpected road construction which closed road with 5km of Casita del Volcan but David quickly sent an alternate route. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet here and were very content to sit on porch when not raining and just inside house when it was. Will definitely stay here again when we make it back to Costa Rica.

Wanderlust was absolutely amazing! Just like the pictures and just as I imagined. I celebrated my 45th birthday weekend with six girlfriends. When planning this birthday trip I knew I wanted a jungle paradise experience and Jai delivered. The villa was safe, clean and had all the amenities mentioned in the description. Jai was a prompt and attentive host. The concierge service she provided gave endless recommendations for restaurants, entertainment and experiences. Although our trip wasn’t long, we were able to fit a day of excursions and a day of relaxation without feeling overwhelmed or rushed. We hiked, zip lined, toured, got massages in the garden and had a yoga class. Our last night a private chef prepared dinner and we had a surprise fire show! 🔥 I highly recommended allowing Jai to curate your vacation at Villa Wanderlust. Pura Vida!! ❤️

I can’t say enough about Jennie and her beautiful home. Our family of five all had enough space to spread out. She provided a lot of recommendations and was very responsive which is nice when you are visiting another country. Her recommendations were spot on and we had a blast visiting this beautiful part of the world.

We had an excellent time at Casa Girasol. Beth is one of the best hosts we have stayed with on AirBnb. She knew exactly what we would need particularly travelling with kids. She had great recommendations for local restaurants, stores, and excursions. She even brought her little chicks and rooster for our kids to see and learn more about. The Casa is located in a beautiful and peaceful location with a great view. The nights were very windy (common for this area in Jan) but that didn't stop us from enjoying this place and Monteverde in general.

Perfect location- walking distance from La fortuna, and an easy drive to Arenal hiking, hot springs, waterfall, etc. The home is very cute and we enjoyed relaxing in the upstairs area and by the pool. Lilly and David were very responsive and helpful, and let us check in early.

As a produce farmer from the United States, we were looking for a local, farmer experience within Costa Rica. We found it! Maria and her family were amazing! Meals prepared were Comida Typica and everything was grown of raised on their farm. Breakfasts were included and the dinners (paid for at the time of service) were flavorful and you could taste the family recipes! The home was immaculate and surprisingly high end! Worth every penny and should be priced higher just for the value add-ons. Wholeheartedly recommend 1000%. Thank you, Maria!

Beautiful cabins in a natural and peaceful environment. Great hosts, that are kind, thoughtful and willing to help with anything. Im so happy I stayed at this heaven on earth. Everything was so clean and fresh when I arrived. Comfortable beds and pleasant space. Thank you guys for a lovely stay!

Amazing place. We stayed there, working remotely and enjoying Costa Rica for a month or so. First, the host's support was out of this world. They would answer our questions and fix them within the same day. It was quite impressive. Now, the house. Great 3-stories house. Amazing pool. (beware, it's not a warm jacuzzi tho) The view of the jungle was breathtaking. Great amenities, clean house, and cleaning team for the pool and house were great. However, since this house is on top of a little hill, I am not sure we could have come to it without an SUV. Finally, the location was great. 5 mins from Villareal. 13 mins from Tamarindo. Close enough, but far enough in the jungle, we felt at peace, away from the noise and busyness of the city. Overall, I recommend it, and I will come back for sure! This place was great for remote workers, with office chairs and desks in every room.

I stayed here with my girlfriend for 1 night, for what you pay, I don’t think it’s possible to find a better view or better airbnb. If the price is in your range I’d suggest stop searching for other airbnbs, this is the one. 10/10

Yami was absolutely amazing and such a great host! She went above and beyond to help us throughout the entire planning process, making everything so easy and stress-free. She was incredibly flexible and so easy to talk to, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Her recommendations were spot-on, and we were so grateful for her local expertise. The Airbnb itself was spotless, with breathtaking views that were even better than we imagined. It felt so peaceful that we genuinely didn’t want to leave. To top it all off, the family restaurant nearby was fantastic—a true gem that added to the overall experience. Thank you, Yami, for making our stay unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

Our stay at the farm was amazing!! We really enjoyed bird watching from the balcony and the phenomenal views of the Arenal Volcano and surrounding area. The bed was very comfortable and the home was very clean and comfortable with all the necessities. Lupita was a great host! She was very response and welcoming. Our only regret is that our itinerary was so full we didn’t have time to do the 7 AM farm tour. I would highly recommend the farm to anyone. I would suggest you have a 4x4 as the roads were a bit rough on route.

A very quiet and cute place

The farm villa was really a cool place to stay. Nice little stream that one can soak in or explore and a beautiful shared swimming pool that was very clean and well-maintained. It also has night lights that allow you to swim into the evening hours. Really a fun place - my daughter heard howler monkeys howling in the morning. I had difficulty sleeping because I don't do well unless the room is very cool. However, my wife, daughters, and son had no problem falling asleep as there were fans in each room. Victor was a great and responsive host. Great recommendation for dinner.

This is our 5th or 6th time that visited this place and our level of satisfaction is always the same: 100%. The location, the house, the surroundings, the great host…this place is 100% recommended!!! Is a real jewel inside the heart of Monteverde!!!

An incredible experience! The house was so clean and so comfortable - they had everything you could possibly need. So much love and effort was put into this house and it was the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Location was also amazing. We will be back!

Oscar's place was the perfect location for our visit to La Fortuna with an amazing view. The kids really enjoyed the pool and outdoor area. The home was clean, as described and suited our group well. There are some local restaurant recommendations in the home info book that were fantastic. Most of the activities we enjoyed were 15-20 mins from this home. There is a convenience store only a few minutes away for groceries or whatever basics you may need. This was only about 2 hrs from the airport as well. Overall great location and property. Thanks for letting us stay!

Domos was incredible! The views and relaxation was just what I needed. I enjoyed the sunset every evening, their delicious breakfast, coffee, the hot tub, and did some local excursions. All the employees were very responsive, communicative, and made my trip extra special. Illena was always available no matter how silly my questions was and also went above and beyond to make excursions happen for me (apparently it is hard to book when traveling solo). If you are not a nature enthusiast pick a different vacay :) As nature is all around, monkeys, birds, and small critters as well. The place was spotless and clean. Having a small kitchette was also great as I kept thing in the fridge and could have cooked if I wanted to. I will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

Our three day stay at the animal rescue farm was nothing short of amazing. The dogs were so friendly and adorable, even acompanying us for sunset. The house was truly spacious, clean, and located conveniently near small town. We were welcomed with a fruit bowl for our family, and the staff were attentive throughout our entire stay. Being surrounded by such beautiful views, we often spent evenings walking around the property's trails with our "dog pack". If you're looking for an escape near Miravalles Volcano, this is the stay for you. There's even hotspring pools just a short 15 minute drive away!! Our family had such a wondeful time at the animal rescue and we'll be sure to be back : )

My friends and I had a great time, we enjoyed a barbecue in the grill aré while we watched the night fall, at night we enjoyed the pool with great weather and the comfort of the facilities. Definitely if they like to spend some time in enjoyment, take advantage to go to the hot springs and enjoy with their own this is a great place!
