Platypus Tent - Peppermint Flat Glamping

The Platypus Tent has all the luxuries of home with none of the usual inconvenience of camping. Lights, device chargers, all your cooking equipment, BBQ and firepit with cook plate, all cutlery, plates, glassware and utensils provided. The tent has luxury bedding (real mattresses!) for up to 5 people, spacious esky and all overlooking your own private waterhole in our pristine Oaky River where Platypus play only 20m from your tent. Hot water showers and composting toilet are only a short walk.

Luxury Glamping Tent (Adults Only)

These tents sleep 2 adults only. Sorry, no pets or children are allowed in these ultra-luxurious glamping tents. With a large king-size bed and inviting doona, sofa, cosy reading lamps, dining table for two, and a crackling log fire in the main room, you will adore the subdued lighting and romantic atmosphere. Leather straps allow the walls to be completely opened up or closed down as you prefer. The spacious ensuite bathroom has a vanity, bathtub for two, a shower and of course toilet.

Safari-style tent for two adults (& two children upon request) with a beautiful bed, bathroom as well as a well-equipped small kitchen with a full-sized fridge and microwave. On the deck, there is lovely outdoor furniture. Our luxurious African safari-style tents have been created with the luxuries of hotel accommodation alongside the escapism and adventure of camping. Inside you will find a beautiful and super comfortable king or queen-sized bed.

GARDEN BEDS BELL TENTS Each 5-metre bell tent is lined with carpet and luxuriously outfitted for a royal pair, or a solo high-flier on a sneaky getaway, long weekend or week-long-siesta. Only 6 tents are on site, each located a nice distance apart allowing for privacy and seclusion buried in the Wombat State Forest. Named for the former developer of the St Erth garden, Tommy Garnett, this tent faces north-east and overlooks the lower pond.
