Chalet holiday rentals in New South Wales

Sam was very responsive and provided excellent instructions before our stay. The house fit the online description to perfection and the surrounding scenery will impress anyone fortunate enough to book Watson's. Between six of us, there was plenty of room and it was extremely affordable. We were here for a weekend of trout fishing and the location was perfect. An entry point to the Delatite River is just a short walk to the house where we saw fish and landed a good rainbow. We fished about a 4km stretch of the river over the weekend for about 6 trout and plenty of hook-ups that ended with fish spitting the hook before they could be landed. For wildlife enthusiasts, plenty of kangaroos, deer and birdlife will keep you entertained. Will definitely consider booking again for another fishing weekend.

A gorgeous spot for a weekend away; so many hikes accessible without needing a car, the hosts are lovely and so helpful and a delicious outdoor bath to soak in after a long day. Would come back for sure.

Our stay at Vicki’s chalet was as we had hoped. The facilities were spotless and the chalet was an easy walk to the village and lifts. As it’s situated along the river the surroundings are peaceful with views into the trees and up the mountain. The living spaces were comfortable and well appointed. Thanks for the experience.

I had some lovely and much needed downtime in this little paradise in the forest. Thanks to the hosts, the trees, the little green snake, the wallabies, the goanna maybe and all the birdies. Oh I forgot the quartet of ducks at night. A great place to be quiet and find your stillness again 💜🤍❤️.

I stayed for one night with my dog (yes it’s dog friendly!) and I really enjoyed the environment and the space. My favourite place was the pool deck, nice and high with a nice view of the surrounding bush. A really nice place to get away. Thank you 🙏

We had a wonderful stay. Loved that we could walk to the creek to kayak/paddle board, or walk along the beach to the crystal clear ocean, or walk to the end of the beach and enjoy the mermaid rock pool. A couple minutes drive to Swan lake and we had another location for launching our kayak/paddle board. While it's a good idea to pick up groceries for the stay, there are still some options to eat our or pick up groceries in Sussex. Sandy was right, the flavors at the Silver spoon Thai restaurant are amazing! So good. We saw plenty of kangaroos in the neighborhood. Sandy and her husband were lovely. Up for a chat while also very respectful. We really appreciated all of the impromptu conversations full or recommendations for the area. Thank you Sandy,

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The accommodation was comfortable, spacious, and easily accessible, making it perfect for our family holiday in the snow. The host was incredibly responsive and always available to answer our questions, which made our experience even better. We had everything we needed for a great trip and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

We had a very lovely 3 day break. House was nice and clean. Everything you needed was available. We even had beautiful warm white lights on the deck to enjoy at Christmas!

We loved our stay at Elissa's and would happily go back. The residence is really comfortable, has a beautiful view and the host is super kind. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay. Views won't disappoint, we had a great time and the house was set up very well. Peter was quick responsive. Great Location with an amazing view. We had an amazing week enjoying the magnificent views from this beautiful house. The house was very well appointed with every item you could need in the kitchen and two sumptuous bathtubs to soak in after hiking or biking the surrounding mountains. There’s so much room in the house which is great when you’re there with your in-laws! Having access to the resorts facilities also made this house worth the price - we enjoyed archery, swimming and sauna but there was so much more we could’ve done. Oh and the beds were super comfortable!! Would most definitely stay there again!!

An excellent place to stay at Falls Creek. Compared to St Falls, while St Falls has a better location, this place offers a more enjoyable experience. It features a spacious and beautiful living area with an amazing view of the snow-covered mountains, giving you a true holiday vibe rather than just a place to stay for skiing. Small tip: You can rent a locker next to the lift, so you don’t have to carry your gear every day.

Great place to stay, very spacious and comfortable. Kitchen with everything you can imagine. Very warm with great open fire and slow combustion heater. Heaps of games , pool table converts to table tennis table and darts board. Very convenient to both Perisher valley via ski tube, and thredbo for great father/son ski weekend.

Julie and Tony were fantastic hosts. Very friendly, very responsive to any questions we had. The property is well maintained, with everything in great condition. The location is beautiful, very secluded right by the water. The perfect getaway from daily hustle and grind. Highly recommended. The view is magnificent!! The house is new, super clean and very well equipped with everything we need. Julie is such a great host and always makes sure we are comfortable and satisfied.

Our family of 6 had an amazing time at Lake Oberon Estate. It had everything we needed and more. Julie was a lovely host, she was very helpful, responsive and accomodating. Looking forward to staying here again.

There were some incidentals left out for us on arrival, specific to our reason for travelling to the snowy mountains - very much appreciated! Also, the property information and communications during our stay were proactive and well received. Great stay in a great spot, would recommend.

Molly’s place exceeded our expectations - the house, location and furnishings were all beautiful and we really appreciated the extra touches such as proving pantry staples, coffee, board games etc. It was also fantastic to have the use of the Crackenback resort facilities - our family had a wonderful stay and we hope to return!
