Barn accommodation in New South Wales

What an absolutely magical space! The peppercorn tree and the ivy growing all around was so picturesque and calming. The converted shed was done tastefully and was a very intriguing and interesting home. Absolutely adored the niche touch of the real Ivy creeping its way inside the shed from outside. absolutely gorgeous!

Betty & John couldn’t have been more accommodating! From an Easter basket to breakfast & buggy trips back up the hill when we had finished our day at the wineries. The house was perfect for our girls weekend and I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Staying at Fiona's was such a beautiful experience. Nestled into a hill with views across beautiful fields and bush environs of Yandoit. From the moment of opening the door the interior spaces were very welcoming. The building has been lovingly restored, adapted and furnished. My partner and I greatly appreciated feeling comfortable to spend time relaxing, cooking and sitting in the garden, and going for walks along the country roads. When we felt like being more social there was the option to drive to nearby towns like Castlemaine and Daylesford. It feels rare to find such a place.

The School House provided a perfect opportunity for our short visit. Jennifer’s eye for detail and supply of breakfast provisions made for an extra pleasant stay.

Well appointed, toasty warm and beautifully styled. Great to be able to bring our dog but surrounds not fenced so not quite as relaxing as it could have been. Delish dinner and granola, thanks Warren. Snow on our last day was magical. Thanks for a memorable stay.

We had a great time staying here. A very peaceful area with lovely views. The pool table was great fun and the place has lots of fun and interesting things to look at. We would definitely stay here again :)

We could not have asked for a better getaway experience. Bronwyn’s Alpaca shed is in the most peaceful and serene countryside. The cottage is very simple and rustic but we had everything we needed and immediately felt at home. The alpacas are gorgeous and we loved our twice daily check in from Merlin the friendly and curious poodle. At night the skies are incredibly clear with an expanse of sparkling stars and a nighttime lullaby of frogs croaking. I would 100% recommend this to anyone wanting a break from city life or wanting to reconnect with nature. We appreciated the thoughtful gift of Easter eggs, fresh coffee and limes for the obligatory G&T. Thankyou again Bronwyn, we hope to be back another time.

Great place to stay for a couple who need a night or two away. So peaceful and relaxing, so easy to find the place. Place is lovely and decked out with everything you need, honestly couldn’t fault the place.

Beautiful accommodation in a beautiful location. Angela was a great host. Communication and access to the property went smoothly. The barn had everything we needed, with the added little touches of chocolates and shortbread. Comfortable beds, lovely views out every window and the friendly donkeys kept the kids happy for hours. Highly recommend.

We had a gorgeous three night getaway at Beth’s place. The barn is exquisitely styled and there were some lovely touches including a chilled bottle of rose and local honey. Beth gave us two fabulous dinner recommendations; Bruno’s was an absolute standout. Great to be in walking distance to Bellingen’s beautiful cafes, shops and restaurants. Thanks Beth!

We cannot thank Ingrid enough for providing such beautiful accommodation. The serenity of the property, especially when having a cuppa early in the morning on the verandah was wonderful. Facilities were excellent, as were the aesthetics of her styling. Having such a beautiful place to stay, just topped off a weekend celebrating our son’s wedding.

Emma's place was lovely! It's quiet, peaceful and private with beautiful surroundings and cute animals; the donkeys are very friendly and the tennis court is a great touch too. Would come here again!

We booked Paramoor because I was looking to find somewhere similar to my childhood home - and I was successful. We were surrounded by beautiful gums. We loved all the birds (black cockatoos, kookaburras, wrens, corellas and best of all, the hens (who looked like they were straight out of an Aardman movie). The cabin was lovely – a perfect hideaway that was rustic but had every modern convenience you might need. There was a wood fire and enough wood for the entire weekend. We roamed through paddocks, meeting kangaroos, as well as their friendly horses and sheep. We enjoyed a wine tasting and had an amazing dinner in Kyneton at Midnight Starling. Lunch the next day at Little Swallow Café. We drove back to Melbourne feeling refreshed but would have preferred to stay longer. Our hosts were helpful, informative and very genuine in their enthusiasm for their business. I highly recommend.

My partner and I had three beautiful days and nights staying in this gorgeous Barn. We were looking for somewhere to rest and recharge after a hectic few weeks and the Barn was perfect. Immaculately clean, presented and decorated, anyone staying here will feel spoilt. We loved the wooden drawers from Prague in the kitchen, having a morning coffee sitting on the deck overlooking the creek, the welcome box of chocolates and bottle of organic wine - perfect! A big thank you to our host, we would love to return for another stay.

We had such an incredible stay at Judy and Grahams beautiful house. It was so much better than expected and the photos don’t do the house and location justice. Judy was so helpful and great to communicate with. Will be staying there again :)

We had a very good 3 night stay. The accommodation was well set up and exceptionally clean with generous supplies. Comfortable king sized bed with nice linen and blackout blinds ( apart from little triangular window at very top ) Sue met us upon arrival to show us the unit then completely respected our privacy.

We had an amazing time at the farm. The Woolshed was so cute and homey. The beds were comfy and was in a great location for day trips. We loved meeting the sheep, chickens and dogs. Highly reccomend.

Exceptional stay! I can’t say enough good things about The Dairy. What an extraordinary place. Beautiful, peaceful, serene…..we loved it. The bedrooms are comfortable, the living area open (literally the doors open all the way to the outside!) and the bathroom is truly a work of art (my daughter referred to her bath there as a “spiritual experience.” Ha!). It really is something to behold. And the location on the macadamia farm is so green and lush and quiet, despite being only a few minutes drive from the busy beaches of Lennox Head and Byron. We didn’t want to leave. And Julie was a delight to work with from start to finish: full of recommendations, easy to reach, quick to respond….a wonderful host. You won’t regret staying here. Glenmore Springs is the perfect location for exploring the King Valley, surrounded by different options for bush walks, wineries and spots for swimming in the river. Also just the most peaceful place to sit and enjoy the country side, with beautiful views of the farm and the river just 3 mins walk from the accomodation. Excellent hosts. Thank you. Will be back again.

Patsy was a lovely host. The location of the house was great, close to town centre but with beautiful surrounding nature.

Thank you for hosting us at your beautiful accommodation. Your place was just perfect and unique. My husband and I said at the same time when we walk in, the photos do not do the place justice. It felt like we walked back in from a long walk and we were home. It had everything you needed from a fully functional kitchen, bread, milk and eggs upon arrival, dressing gowns and the bed was so comfortable. We went to Zoe’s place to relax and chill for 2 nights and that’s exactly what we did. Perfect weekend.
