Monthly Rentals in Monterey

Great place for an extended stay! I rented the cottage for about 2.5 months and felt very at home during my stay. Colder months in Monterey mean dressing warm, but the provided space heater kept the cottage comfortable. A small kitchenette was limited, but a provided air fryer and microwave made things more manageable. An overall peaceful, clean and great stay!

Wonderful hosts, great communication and attention to detail! Comfortable bed and everything I needed in the apartment. Perfect location, easy parking. Definitely would stay again.

Alice House was a perfect place to spend our month in Monterey. Christine and Ian were very responsive and helpful during our stay. They clearly thought through the range of things guests might need for their stay given how well the place was stocked. The house is a lovely downhill walk to the Aquarium and Cannery Row. Safeway and Trader Joes are a short drive away. The kitchen has a large sink, a well sized gas stove and oven, and cabinets full of gadgets, appliances, and pots/pans. Living overseas, we were thrilled to make frequent use of the American sized washer/drier. The two bedrooms offer flexibility if you want to use one for sleeping and the other as a workspace, or to put a child or other guest on the pull-out couch. If you are a runner, there are some beautiful routes you can take around the coastline and explore the Monterey peninsula. The garage is a tight fit for larger cars.

As close to perfect as you can get with an airbnb. Great Equipment, great hosts, great Service, and one of the best prices in the area. The only possible downside would be that the place is pretty small, but the pictures show the size accurately and the homely decorations and furniture make it perfectly comfortable nonetheless. Book this if you get the chance.
