It seems that we have rated Cara's place very well and five stars, that's because it has earned this rating. From the moment we drove in the gate we loved it. It was my wife's 70th birthday celebration and her family all arrived the following day. They were in awe as much as we were. The perfect place for a family gathering, relaxation, beautiful views. The house - everything - was amazing! There was no way anyone wanted to leave and we are already hoping for a return soon. We absolutely loved the kitchen and it was so easy to prepare a High Tea for the morning and birthday cake, and then a roast dinner at night. Cosy fire at night. Thank you so much. Vanessa’s hidden treasure is amazing, relaxing and peaceful just what the doctor ordered having 4 kids 6 and under. The place is absolutely breathtaking with views all around the house. A fridge, pots, pans, Weber bbq and everything you need to have meals is supplied (plates etc) Shower and bath tub with beautiful views you can’t go wrong. We will be back for another retreat !! Such a beautiful peaceful location that is food for the soul. Kim and Dean have certainly created a special space to share with true warm hospitality. Kept so clean with quality fittings, accessories, flawless wifi and an incredibly comfortable bed. I would highly recommend a few days at this private unique cabin.

We spent two nights at Croftby Hills, escaping the chaos of city life. My 3x kids (2/4/6yrs old) had a fantastic time. They loved the speeding down the hill on the wooden carts, waving at the cows in the morning, the stick swing and the bunk beds. My husband and I enjoyed the peaceful tranquillity of Croftby Hills and the convenience of the property. We loved the rustic feel of the house and it had everything we needed for our stay. We had a great time exploring the scenic rim and visited the camel farm and fed/milked baby goats at Naughty Little Kids. We even managed to do a mini hike up at Mount French- less than 1km round trip to Logan’s Lookout (perfect for little legs). Looking forwards to visiting again!
