Nick and Cameron were excellent hosts. Nick was lighting-fast with communication and accommodation. The place was spotless and stylish. I loved coming home and seeing their lil Sheltie looking at me through the window. I’d love to come back.

Andrea and Doug were fantastic hosts and very responsive! Black Bear #2 was perfect, especially for solo or couple traveling. The unit feels very welcoming, calm, and relaxing. The living room has an extremely comfy couch. There is plenty of lighting available, and the kitchen area is spacious. My absolute favorite feature was the LED display shower panel. It is an absolute godsend and perfect way to relax after a long day. The bed was also very comfy, and I loved the charging port built into the frame. I would highly recommend this Airbnb or any other property Andrea and Doug have. And if needed, I would absolutely rent from Andrea and Doug again.

Had an amazing stay in Anchorage! The living room offered stunning views, and the bed was comfortable and spotless. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Tucked into a historic downtown Anchorage neighborhood, this little jewel of modern design blew me away. Let’s start with the location. I’m from Anchorage, so I’m picky about where I’ll stay—and this was perfect. It snowed in April, and the neighborhood fell quiet under a soft cover of white. We left our rental car in the heated garage and walked downtown—15 minutes to the Captain Cook Hotel, 25 to the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. Back home, we kicked off our boots in the mudroom and walked up to a spacious, beautifully designed apartment. Heated floors, high ceilings, and elegant decor made it feel both modern and warm. The kitchen was spotless, practical, and easy to use, with thoughtful touches throughout. And the host, Liz, was wonderful—gracious, stylish, quick to respond, and easy to communicate with. While the entrance is on a wide alley, it’s easy to find. This place is the real deal. You’ll be glad you made the call.
