Holiday houses in Talkeetna

Amazing wood beams all around. Comfortable beds and nice shower, what more you need? The furniture and floor may remind some of a guys’ hunting cabin but it didn’t phase us.

We had a great time at the homestead! It was so cozy inside, and we really enjoyed the activities in the cabin (coloring book, games, books) since it rained the whole weekend. We’d love to return!

We had a great stay with friends. Lots of sleeping space and 2 nice spaces to hang out or watch TV. Sauna is a nice added bonus to this property, especially since our trip came complete with rain, wind, snow and loss of power for the majority of our stay. The only complaint is that there is no alternate heating source for unexpected moments like we experienced and there was only one small flashlight (that we found). But like good Alaskans, we all came prepared with headlamps. I would definitely come back and stay at this property, great for larger gatherings.

Beautiful location! Very easy check in and flexible host. We loved enjoying a fire on the deck overlooking the winter wonderland and seeing all the neighborhood dogs living their best dog life running across the frozen lake to visit each other. Very comfortable beds. Clean and cozy.

Lindsey & Nikolaus! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us. We walked in and immediately felt relaxed and at home. You had every little thing we could possibly want in a rental. We like to cook for ourselves, and you had absolutely everything we needed. We were winding our trip up and your place was the perfect ending to a great trip. Almost wished we'd started here and stayed for at least a week. It's ideal for two couples with two separate floors and two full baths. All the best! Cheers! -Cindy

This little cabin is absolutely adorable! So well decorated and has everything you need plus the world’s best blankets! They are so soft and warm. Lots of amenities I wouldn’t expect in a cabin in Talkeetna! Also, you can bike or ski straight from the cabin onto trails/lakes which is awesome. Easy to find, close to town, close to trails. We would 100 percent stay here again.

A very beautiful and relaxing stay. Our host was very accommodating and responded quickly to all our questions.

Quiet, clean, and private. Absolutely worth what we paid and our dogs loved it! Vickie was very communicative and even left some toys for our animals to keep them entertained. I’m sure we will be back :)
