Really loved Dave’s place and how he was clearly passionate about the running of the farm. He had so much to share, without being overbearing. When we were lacking a lighter to start the bonfire, Dave immediately drove over with one and taught us how to set a fire, how to feed the animals and gave some excellent recommendations for what to do around the area (including a very yummy pie place!).

The hosts were always quick to respond to my questions and allowed us to drop off our luggage early which allowed us to do other things before it was time to check-in. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped, and having a few breakfast things available made the first few days much easier.
