Sophie is a fantastic host who gave great clear instructions and was very responsive to all messages. The house was great for the 6 adults and 2 kids. A beautiful garden and short walk to the beach made this the ideal place for our chill summer holiday.

Matilda thank you for having us and being prompt when an issue arose. We had a wonderful stay, the house was perfect for what we needed and close to the beach. loved that we could bring our dog with us to join in the experiences we had. Lots to do around the surrounding area.

We stayed in Thames to explore the Coromandel from there and were so happy to arrive back at this place every day. Such a lovely house and garden! Having our coffee and dinner on the terrace, just sitting there enjoying the tranquility , all you need. The kitchen is big and allowed us to cook our own meals. You can just walk around the corner and watch the most beautiful sunsets. We loved everything!

We have nothing but positives to say about staying at Shar’s place right by the beach. Our kids felt right at home and loved the Lego box to play with for some down time. We enjoyed the space so much so we could cook a few meals, relax, and have a great holiday away! Thank you again for everything you did to host us!

Very well set up. Nice home and very modern. Carolyn our service person was very nice and made us feel very welcome. The outside hot and cold shower was a bonus. Beds comfy and plenty of space for four of us. There is a fold out bed in the lounge.

Excellent family bach in lovely location near the beach. It had everything we needed for an extended family holiday together. Great communication with very prompt replies when we had any queries. Would thoroughly recommend.

This fabulous little place is just steps from the beach. Beautifully decorated with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Lots of great hikes and restaurants just a short drive away. What a beautiful home. Thank you to Rebecca for hosting my team and I for our annual get together. The house had plenty of room for meeting spaces, beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. The outside areas were just fantastic and the pool provided some welcome cooling after an afternoon of meetings. Couldn’t recommend it more. Rebecca was very accomodating to us. Thank you!

Our family of four was seeking a secluded retreat where we could pause, unwind, and recharge—Yana's home was the perfect place. Perched high on a hill, it offered breathtaking ocean views while nestled in the tranquil rural mountains, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. The pool, trampoline, and spa kept our 13- and 11-year-olds happily entertained. Every comfort had been thoughtfully provided, from a high-end coffee machine and excellent Wi-Fi to luxurious linens and a quality TV and sound system. The retreat is just a few minutes from town, close to all the regular tourist 'must-sees'. Our four-night stay was absolutely perfect. Thank you, Yana!

Nicola went above and beyond for me and my friends for my 40th birthday. The house has so much character and so much to do. The tennis court and swimming pool were an added bonus on top of everything else. The house had everything we needed. Great place for everyone to enjoy.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Badger. There was a lot to do at the property, with no real need to leave. The bedroom sizes are perfect, and bathrooms well sized also. The gardens are lush and abundant, and the chickens provided daily eggs. The pool and spa always ready to go, and the tennis court an extra space for activity. The kitchen had everything needed, and was used a lot on our stay. Nathan is a very proactive and responsive host - thank you again, we will definitely be back. 😊

Coming down the long, tree lined drive past the main house and to our cottage felt like entering a Jane Austen novel. Definitely one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. Godfrey and Crystal were lovely. They made sure we had everything we needed and more. Definitely would consider moving in permanently.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was very private and peaceful yet very close to Katikati town if you need anything or want some different experiences. We swam at the pools everyday and enjoyed the bushwalks. We also swam in the springs which were beautiful! The lawn Infront of the house was perfect for games. Highly recommend for all ages.

Great spot, walking distance to the beach and town. Well equipped apartment with really comfortable beds and nice linen. Lovely outdoor space.
