definitely loved the breakfast she left in the fridge for us we went for a swimming her pool we felt like two kids I went down the slide and it was very great memory it was a little bit like swimming in a grotto called that I swim in Colombia except bigger. Melanie has high standards cleanliness and creates an ambience that was very restful she goes out of her way I can see that with everything deserves the five after driving all the way from Blenheim it was definitely the go-to place we needed for a stopover or even two days or three if you had time

We had the most amazing weekend at this beautiful B&B! From the moment we arrived, Karen was an absolute A++ host—warm, welcoming, and so thoughtful....showed us around the property and beautiful river. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, and we found ourselves so comfortable in the rustic cabin that we didn’t even want to leave discovering the neighborhood! The setting was perfect... the chickens, ducks, rabbits and 'Turkey' adding such a charming touch! Every detail in the cabin was beautifully put together—from the well-equipped kitchen - even got fresh eggs for breakfast to the cozy bedroom. This was hands down one of the best stays we’ve ever had, and we can’t wait to return. Thank you, Caryn for creating such a special place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a fantastic stay at over the hedge! The space itself is beautiful, clean and private. The location was a 10 second walk to the beach which was private especially during the week! There are a few restaurants/coffee shops in walking distance as well. Jeff was an excellent host to boot, checking in with us to make sure everything was to our liking and ensuring we had everything we needed to have a remarkable stay. Highly recommend staying here.

Stephen and Sue have a lovely wee air bnb studio on their property. If you like some country air and peace and quiet this will be a good choice for you. Made to feel homely and equipped with all the basics you need.

Lovely cottage in the country. A basic inside with hot plate, small table and small couch inside. We noticed no overhead fan for cooking so we opened the door and used aircon unit to get out any smoke. Bed was comfortable but squeaky, shower pressure was firm but had nice body wash and shampoo conditioner etc. The outside of the house is very pretty with a gorgeous garden and horses across the paddock. We loved the fresh cows milk in the fridge for our morning coffee. Close to town 8 minute drive to most cafes or supermarkets. 25-30 minutes away from Riverside Adventures which we did a half day bike trail. Overall would recommend staying here to others if you’re looking for some relaxing time out.

Brenda's place is wonderful! You feel right at home, surrounded by nature and her beautiful garden. Everything was spotless and well-maintained. Brenda is a fantastic host who suggested some local attractions to visit. We really enjoyed our stay there!

Very nice Unit. Very clean and well laid out. Good views over the shorebird sanctuary and Robert Findlay wildlife reserve is only 2-3 minutes drive. Happy to recommend.

A lovely cottage super close to the beach with all you need. Loved our stay

This is a fabulous little gem is very close (walkable) to the "user friendly" beach. Zoe and Robert were great hosts and let us use their boogie and surf boards which was very kind of them. The suite has been very well built and feels modern and comfortable. Cooking is limited to the barbecue but we knew this going in and there are a number of restaurants nearby. We would highly reccommend this spot. Thank you Zoe and Robert

One of the best accomodations to find in New Zealand, when ypu ate looking for a relaxing time near a beach! We were amazed by Robyns and Martins place. The accomodation is great for couples wanting something special. It offers everything you might need for a perfect stay. Robyn and her husband are so lovely, attentative, helpful, also creative, inspiring and warm people, they made us feel at home. Also Waihi Beach is in walking distance, to wach sunrises or go swimming. We were also offered a Kajak, so that we could discover the neighbour bay. There is a lovely saturday market as well to eat/drink and listen to live Musical. All in all - perfect! Thank you!

Sara's place is nice and spacious. It had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. I agree with previous reviews saying the patio could do with some TLC and maybe a table. Overall a great place.

Second time staying here and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Absolutely amazing stay everything was perfect. A short walk to the beach and such a cute unit. Hosts even let us check in early and offered a late check out, they are so accommodating! Definitely loved our stay we will be back again! Thank you!

David was an excellent host! The place was easy to find, super clean, and well-maintained. He was always quick to respond and very friendly throughout our stay. I would definitely book with him again in the future and highly recommend his place to friends.

Margriet was a 10/10 host in every way possible. From her first greeting in sharing how to use her space, to the kind gesture where she went out of her way to ship me my jacket that I accidentally left in her home, I am so grateful to have found this place and enjoyed staying here overnight while exploring Tauranga. Her space is lovely, spotless and homey with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I cannot recommend this place and Margriet enough!

Scott’s room was excellent. All the room with great taste! The place was super clean, comfortable, especially for bed! Very cozy easy to sleep. Really enjoyed our stay at Suzie’s. Suzie is a delightful host- very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The comfortable beds and quiet, peaceful setting made for a great night’s sleep. Suzie supplied all of the ingredients for a delicious continental breakfast. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone planning to stay in Matamata. Thank you Suzie for making our stay a memorable one.

Such a lovely, stylish and spacious set up. Separate master bedroom and bath off the living area and kitchen (with extra bed perfect for families). The kitchen had all needed supplies plus the property is a short and pretty walk to restaurants, shops and I site building designed like a hobbit house along Broadway in Matamata. Highly recommend to others

We had a wonderful stay at Karen’s little country retreat! We were greeted warmly by Karen and her lovely dog, Wicket! The cottage was clean and beautiful with a gorgeous view. My personal favorite part was hanging with Wicket and the farm animals- top highlight was when Karen let me feed her sweet little baby deer. Magical. We hope to stay here again someday!

A beautiful relaxing space with everything we needed. Beautiful studio, surrounded by fruit trees and bush, comfy bed and furnishings. Clean and modern, lots of little treats and best spa outdoors ever! We loved it so much 2 nights weren’t enough will defs be back! Recommend 💯

Words do not describe this amazing little oasis! I found The Fat Fish accommodation so luxurious and better than most 5 star hotels! All amenities were also a very high standard and very comfortable/clean. Very close to the beautiful beach within walking distance along with some amazing restaurants and shops. Communication was also excellent. I would highly recommend staying here and I think this will now be my go to when visiting beautiful Waihi! Also the outdoor bath amazing!!

This is a wonderful AirBNB - extremely comfortable and it has everything you could need for a few days away. And it is a definite bonus to have a pool! Godfrey and Crystal made us very welcome and we very much enjoyed meeting them. We'll definitely be back.
