Beautiful mountain cabin! Very spacious and a lot of activities - perfect for multiple families and kids. We appreciated that the house was very well stocked with all the essentials.

We headed to the Noridc Cabin for a late-January getaway, and we had a wonderful time. The mountain-woods setting was exactly what we were hoping for. Strolling around the roads was a delight. The house itself was cozy and comfy. Winter hot-tubbing was also a real plus.

We stayed at this charming home during our recent family ski break. The home is extremely clean and exactly as pictured. Jo was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We loved the location. It is a few minute drive to base camp and walkable to the playground (huge plus with our kids). Each evening we could see deer just a few yards away. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering this house.

This was my second stay at one of Derek’s cabins, and just like the first time, it was absolutely perfect. The cabin was peaceful, secluded, and surrounded by the natural beauty of the Shenandoah area—exactly what I was looking for. The views from the hot tub were absolutely extraordinary, making it the perfect place to unwind. Another great perk is that while the cabin isn’t directly on the river, it comes with access to the community’s river access, which is an awesome bonus. I’ve had such great experiences with Derek’s cabins that while I was here, I went ahead and booked another one for May! That’s how much I trust his hospitality and the quality of his rentals. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat in the Luray area, this is the place.

Jackie’s cabin was exactly as advertised; peaceful, secluded, with beautiful views of the starry sky. Very well appointed kitchen, and lots of room for lounging in the living room. Would recommend for anyone looking for quiet time away with high speed internet.

Had a wonderful stay at this property, and the new hot tub was amazing! The open floor designs for the guest house made it feel extra spacious. The guest house itself was updated and felt very clean.

Our annual stay at Kelly’s cabin is honestly one of the highlights of our year. This peaceful, secluded, cozy home is the reason we’ve all fallen in love with “cabin weekend” and we’re so thankful to Kelly for sharing this gem. The home is wonderfully equipped with all the essentials to few right at home and the firewood for real fires and jacuzzi are the cherries on top of a great home. Would recommend to any group or family looking to get away and reconnect with each other.

The place was beautiful and private with great views and not too far away. Linda & Michael were wonderful. They were very nice, helpful and ready to meet any need to make our stay relaxing and memorable. We look forward to going back in the future.

If a peaceful, sleepy, serene example of what living in a small town is really like, then this is the perfect place for you! This absolutely beautiful and well preserved farmhouse, which dates back to the 1890’s was clearly restored by people who obviously love this house and a way of life that has become very difficult to experience for most folks today. The grounds are picturesque and the livestock on the grounds, only add to the genuine appeal of the overall property. Karen is a very kind, generous, and responsive hostess which only serves to make a stay here more comfortable. The dining area is spacious and well lit. The finer details of this house have been preserved in working order as well. Check out is just as easy as checking in as a side note. To be certain, I have never stayed in any other Air B&B, that I would have been proud to call my own. I have nothing but praise for Karen and the job they did in making it possible for folks to experience this area, and Lee County VA!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for Valentines' Day weekend and loved it! The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, several amenities were supplied, and overall it had a wonderfully homey feel to it. The location was perfect and felt like we were within a reasonable distance between a lot of things while still having peaceful privacy. Would definitely recommend!

How can I rate this extraordinary home with just 5 stars? Impossible, try 20 plus! This is our second stay inbetween long travel days and it is like coming home. We so very much appreciate Lynne's flexibility with our travel time and schedules and oh that backyard is simply a fairyland! Each visit sitting on the patio puts us in major relax mode listening to the fountain on the little pond and all the landscaping and lights. What a blast Lynne must have decorating this home and her attention to detail is unmatched with other rentals! Fun listening to her record collection as well. Way too nice a home to be a rental. See you next year Lynne. We love it!

We loved staying at Kim’s for a quick quiet sewing retreat away from the city. We loved walking around the grounds and then cozying up in the beautifully decorated historic cottage.

We have stayed at this great condo several times and this place is hard to beat. Perfect location to park your car and walk to the Lodge, skiing, the plunge and the Market. Well appointed, super dog-friendly with easy steps leading out to the rear grassy area. Highly recommended!

Cindy is always so responsive and polite! I love the alpacas and working dogs. The place is always clean and has everything you need. 10 minute drive from downtown Farmville. Highly recommended.

My family and I stayed here, it was a good getaway. Beautiful views, pool was great, and hot tub as well. The fireplace was nice. The bugs do not bother you. You really do need a 4x4 car to get there. The road is rough and are a ton of rocks on the way there. It would be useful to add some more outdoor light since it does get very dark at night. Other than that it was a good place to stay at. Love it! 😊

This was our 3rd year renting their Potomac Overlook home for our family Thanksgiving and once again, our entire family loved staying here! The home is spacious with plenty of bed- and bathrooms plus super-comfortable beds. And the property is absolutely beautiful with its Potomac River-front location and plenty of very usable outdoor space. We highly recommend it!

Kelly's place is so peaceful and relaxing. I really enjoyed the quiet surroundings as well as meeting the farm animals and her dogs. I also loved walking the trail. The house is a very short drive to Williamsburg so you are close to everything you need. I would definitely stay there again.
