Monthly Rentals in Tyler State Park Lake

This was such a sweet, cozy home to stay! We felt “at home” right away. It was the perfect sized home, and so adorably decorated! It was a very peaceful, sweet atmosphere. The host was very kind and communicative! We would definitely come back!

This is a great place for a get away. Close enough to Tyler and Lindale to allow for plenty of activities and restaurants. The hosts did a great job packing a lot of amenities into the cabin, including a hot tub in the one we stayed in. Very well done and the host messaged us several times to check in on us. Highly recommended if you are looking for a neat getaway location or just need somewhere to stay for a while near Tyler/Lindale.

Checkout instructions were “gather your belongings, we will do the rest.” Everything about our stay was this easy. We stayed a week and had plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc. The temperatures went below feeezing but we stayed warm and cozy. The king size bed and linens were super comfortable and everything was really clean. There were two comfortable chairs. The hot water was hot right away. We had no problem parking our Toyota Highlander in the space off the alley. Very convenient. Beautiful neighborhood. 

Absolutely worth the price we paid!! Beautiful home, bucolic setting. Respite from the city. Space enough to return to with extended family members when renting the other cottage. Beautiful drive past a scenic lake set among the piney woods is nearby. Kind owner who was promptly attentive. Had all the items we needed to make it our home base for the weekend. Easy drive from Dallas for a getaway. Whole visit went out a glitch! Only one small trouble… water heater had an error reading on it , but they had it fixed hours before we would need to use it that night for showers. Do wish the shop cabin we rented had an outdoor seating spot by it for morning coffee and reading. But, what a delight it was to watch the goats and chickens through the kitchen window while doing dishes!
