What a beautiful spot! We loved being in such a peaceful location, just a short walk from being able to swim in the lake. Lovely's place had everything we need, including a nice outdoor area - perfect for storing bikes and drying swimming gear! Lovely was a dream to communicate with and went out of her way to make our stay great. We can't recommend staying here highly enough!

A wonderful stay. We felt completely at home. The space is impeccable -- clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed with everything we could possibly need.

This BnB is not far from the CBD Taupo, 7 min drive. A lovely place, clean and tidy, comfortable bed and a fridge and oven warmer, and perfect for me that wanted drop- in accommodation for a few days. Tina the host is lovely. I would recommend this place to people .

Janet’s place was perfect for our stop over in Taupo. It is super close to the lake with awesome surroundings including shops & cafes/restaurants close by. We were recommended Two Mile Bay Sailing Club which is just down the road - it’s an absolute vibe with live music :) What was also great about the place is that it not only had a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen but also a lounge & dining table. The place is spacious, clean & in a great location. Janet is also very lovely & so is her pup Stella! Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable spot in Taupo - thanks again for a brill stay :)

Jane is an absolutely incredible host and the space was clean and welcoming. Close to the beach and a short distance from local hiking spots. She gave amazing recommendations for local food, bars and activities, I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely stay, made to feel very welcome and wonderful hosts. Perfect for our weekend away for the summer concert has everything you need and cosy and clean.

Jude was a wonderful host - very friendly and proactive. She provided a whole list of recommendations for the local area which was super useful. The location of the apartment was a stones throw away from the lake, and the apartment itself was well equipped and spacious. Thanks again, Jude, for your wonderful hospitality!

We had a relaxing stay in the cozy studio. Appreciated the good water pressure and the washing machine. Highly recommended.

Bex was a fabulous host and made us feel very much at home. The accommodation was exactly as described and Bex gave very clear instructions and was super responsive to messages. We were very comfortable for our stay in Taupo for Ironman NZ and Bex and Derek even came out to support me on the course which was so kind of them and very much appreciated. Our accommodation was spotless and we had great fun hanging out with Patch :-) Would definitely recommend Bex as a host and would stay again for my next trip to Taupo.

THE best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in The attention to detail. A beautiful, spotless home, stocked to the brim with things like cereal, coffee, fresh bread and milk, welcome chocolate etc Jane came to meet us and showed us around her beautiful home. What a woman! So, so warm and friendly, nothing was a bother. Let us enjoy the space with privacy whilst also making us feel like she would be there in a second if we needed anything. Left feeling like we’d made a new friend. There’s a sign in the room “sprinkle kindness around like confetti” and both of us felt like Jane embodied this. Not only was it a GORGEOUS place to stay with the comfiest bed ever, but the warmth and energy from Jane was exceptional and our small conversations with her truly made our trip to Taupo. Thank you, thank you.

We had a great stay, the whole process was very easy and the place was clean and comfy, would definitely recommend!

Very clean and nice place, a bit small but enough for single or couple but I don’t recommend it for big family. Also two rooms are side by side and you might get some noise (specially Tv noise) if other room has occupant. Overall it is a great accommodation and I always appreciate clean and tidy accommodation. Definitely I will book it again if I travel to Taupō.

We had a lovely stay and it was nice to be greeted by Lynda on arrival. Lots to explore around Taupo. Would recommend and stay again if ever in the area again.

We booked fairly last minute on a busy weekend with school holidays and the super cars on in Taupo . Was a perfect spot ( quiet but fairly close to town) for myself and my son and his wife , who were in Taupo for a family event. Jeremey and Anna were prompt communicators and really easy to deal with at every step of our stay . We loved all the little touches in the house , that made it feel both homely and stylish. House it perfectly set up and equipped . Loved the art too. We would highly recommend and will definitely stay again. Our only regret was that we weren't staying longer . Thanks so much ! Juliette

Newish comfy place, spic & span, close to CBD and lake. kitchenette well stocked. Heather & Laurie are very friendly good communicators, show us around their well maintained gardens. Highly recommended.

We changed our plans due to bad weather and Don was so kind to accommodate us with a same day booking. The communication with him was easy and it was great to meet him in person. The place itself is super clean and spacious and you have perfect lakeview from the bed! Definitely a recommendation!

For those who enjoy farm stays, I definitely recommend Cathy’s place. She is the best host I have ever met—very polite, friendly, and always approachable. Staying at Cathy’s place is great value for money and feels like staying in a homestead.

Had a great four days. Apartment is walking distance to lake, nearby restaurants and shops. Margaret got in touch with good instructions on how to access the apartment. Worried there might be noise as it was Supercars weekend but was lovely and quiet. Would definitely stay again!
