We loved our stay at Ruru. The accommodation and hosts were fantastic. The setting is very peaceful and relaxing, and easily connects to local walkways. Thanks for a great visit, Steve & Lisa Maree.

The house is very clean and tidy, and it has extremely soft and comfortable beds. You can see the pasture outside from the bedroom, which washed away the fatigue accumulated from driving all day long. I thought there would be abit noise from cows at night but surprisingly it was very quiet. Communicating with Andrea was very pleasant and easy and she responds the messages very promptly. Looking forward to coming again next time!

Laura is a very pleasant host. Communication was excellent and helpful at all times. The accommodation is beautifully located and very quiet. Everything you need is available. We slept very well. Everything was 100% clean. Thank you for the great stay, absolutely recommendable!

What a stay!! You know it was a great stay when you leave saying: ”I wish I could live there!”. The surroundings were top notch, the area has so much to offer from hiking Mount Taranaki, visiting the Three Sisters rocks and beach, cruising New Plymouth and just getting lost in the environment. The Airbnb it’s self was perfect! So clean and has everything you need to have a comfy stay. My wife and I loved getting up to have some coffee and read outside while soaking in the birds chirping and beautiful air. Lou and Nigel were so kind and friendly. We highly recommend ! -Stef
