Holiday houses in Waitomo Caves

Our stay at Melanie’s Serendipity was magical. It was hard to leave. The house was so very comfortable for the 4 of us with the most beautiful views out over the water. Waking up to that sight was something else. It was a special treat to have daily visits from Billy the cat and the local chickens. It was an easy walk, either along the water or the road, into town for a lovely feed/coffee/stroll. I’d highly recommend staying at Melanie’s.

Stayed for a couple of days here and could have spent much longer. House was beautifully, really tastefully decorated and had everything you could ever need in terms of appliances and amenities you really feel like you're at home. Situated up a track about ten minutes from downtown Raglan (and lots of great shops and cafes) its easy to get to all the main attractions and beaches by car and the views from the deck over the estuary are something else. Special mention to the hosts though as they went the extra mile leaving us fresh sourdough and creamy milk and even opening up for us and turning on some lights as we arrived later than expected. Would definitely stay again and for longer! Thanks!

Bow Street Studios was the perfect spot for our one night stay in Raglan. Tucked away at the bottom of the main street it was perfectly placed for a short walk for a potter in the lovely independent shops, or to have food at one of the delicious restaurants. The accommodation was clean and cosy, with lovely outside space and balcony. Wished we could have stayed longer.

A peaceful, private residence that is easy to find and get into, close to the city but very quiet rural area. Hot tub is perfect and the place very clean, tidy and new fittings. Bed is comfy with good quality sheets!

I had an amazing stay at Tineke's place! The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and a peaceful quiet atmosphere. The Beach batch was very clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. The King bed was super comfortable & spacious, and I loved the nature touches, Tineke was an excellent communicator, always responsive and helpful with any questions I had. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. Overall, I felt very welcome and comfortable during my stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a homely, luxurious and convenient spot with stunning veiws of all points in Raglan!

Fabulous little cottage with everything we needed. Kitchen was tiny but practical - fun cooking toast and boiling the kettle on the gas hob. We really enjoyed doing the Misty Mountain hikes around the covenants on the farm - was a challenging path (especially for our 5 year old) but a great adventure with amazing views

Just wow, absolutely breathtaking location, surrounded by pure nature, water views, the sunsets are a sight to see!, the star gazing was a bonus, thank you Penny!
