The Dacha

JoernRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We wanted a quiet break from the city for ourselves and young children and the house was fantastic- warm, open planned, cosy, especially with the fire on, nice views and none of us wanted to leave. We watched the stars at night and to the kids delight we even saw a shooting star. The Taralga Wildlife Park nearby was great as the kids got to hold lots of animals and the staff were so friendly. Look forward to returning to Michael's beautiful home.

Farmstay country cottage in Taralga/Bannaby

JeanClaudeRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I would give 6 stars if I could. What a wonderful Airbnb and lovely hosts. We had kids with us and Bec had a baby lamb that was rejected by its mother. She offered if we wanted to feed the lamb. and suffice to say it was the highlight of our trip. Superb hosts and a lovely stay. the farm is a working farm so you see the cows and sheep and a couple of horses. But note you need to bring all food and drinks with you, there is nothing nearby, the town is 20 minutes away and only has a general store (a nice store nevertheless), But I'd definitely recommend stocking up on all food and drinks before you come. The house has everything else you may need and the hosts even kindly setup the fire pit ahead of time which is a lovely welcoming experience.

Upper Ayrston Cottage

PeterRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Upper Ayrston was private and secluded with a stunning view of the valley and the distant Abercrombie hills. I had lots of questions about the farm stay and Stephanie was always prompt and helpful with her replies. The house was spacious and clean and fitted our two families very comfortably. We took numerous short walks enjoying beautiful sunsets. Would definitely recommend and hope to get back soon.
