We loved this place! We were looking for something more halfway between Sydney and Melbourne but fell for this place and just had to book. We’re glad we did. The bed was super comfy and the standard was well above most pet friendly place. We only stayed the night and didn’t really use the kitchen. Our only concern was that our dog is petrified of the wind turbines and even though they were far away in the distance, it made her freak out and not want to be outside. Rachel said she hadn’t had other dogs react like that (including her own), so think it could be just our dog being a bit weird. 🫣 We arrived after midnight and Dean was still up to ensure we found the place ok. This was the second time we’ve stayed. The house is well stocked and very comfortable for a large family group.

We absolutely loved our stay at this little apartment by the beach! The views were absolutely amazing, and there were beautiful beaches just a short walk away. We brought our Golden Retriever, Sonny, and it was so easy to get to a great dog beach nearby—which he loved! Bronwyn was such a friendly and welcoming host. She had lots of helpful suggestions for places to visit and eat, and Sonny absolutely adored her too. The accommodation was lovely—comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. It was the perfect weekend getaway, and we can’t wait to come back.

Carolyn and Malcolm’s place is cosy and lovely. From the views to the well equiped homely house we had an amazing few days there. The house was well set up and we felt comfortable from the moment we stepped through the door. Easy check-in. Was more than we expected, surrounded by wildlife. Had a great break being surrounded by the mountains, even managed to catch a fish. The kids didn’t miss having wifi, and said they would come back in heartbeat. Thanks for sharing your space with us.

Great stay for a weekend away. It was so peaceful whilst still in walking distance from the lovely river and the town. The place was so clean! I would stay again soon!

A really nice place to stay with our 2 dogs. Everything was as described. Backing on to the creek was nice. Easy walking distance to the beach. The backyard was very private and ideal being enclosed for the dogs. The house had everything you could want. Well supplied kitchen with plenty cooking utensils.Overall very enjoyable, would like to come back again later in the year.

Awesome house which makes us feel home very close to shops yet feels very residential. Clean and nice house. Will recommend this to all tourists who want to anchor at Batesmans bay. Will recommend the tourists to give it clean to the owner so many enjoys the place as we did. Best Deal!
