Monthly Rentals in Tākaka

An incredible place to stay! There is so much love in the truck that you immediately feel at home when you arrive! Ani and Hamish were always available for a nice conversation, but never intrusive! The truck is very homey! There is a well-equipped kitchenette and a great barbecue. Also, it's fantastic to eat on the terrace!! We were completely satisfied and would come back at any time! Thank you for the hospitality!

The cost of the Cabin where we stayed was expensive, we thought. The other accommodation, when checked, was cheaper and bigger. However, it was a great introduction to the Garden and the accommodation on offer. The location could not be better, access to beach very easy, and plenty of places to sit and relax whilst enjoying the sea vista. It is just a pity that we chose to stay during a period of wet and cold weather. We would not hesitate to book again.

It was an absolute privilage being able to stay at Ute's house right in the heart of Takaka's main street. Ute provided very clear instructions on how to find the place and was very helpful in recommending places to eat and explore. The accomodation was very homely, the beds very comfortable and it provided everything we needed. A beautiful part of the country. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

quiet space, amazing place to stay, tiny house and caravan were super cosy, yard was just breathtaking. Our kids could help collect some eggs from the chickens. perfect!
