Holiday rentals with a patio in Tākaka

We didn’t want to leave this sweet cottage in Nelson’s historic South Street. It’s the perfect location for a city stay: charming, walk everywhere, yet it’s also quiet. There is a courtyard at the rear of the cottage for a private outdoor space - lovely and sunny in the afternoon - and the view from the eastern bedroom overlooks historic cottages to the cathedral. We also appreciated a car park in the CBD. As well as the courtyard, another highlight was the bathroom with its clawfoot bath and floral loo! Thanks for a wonderful stay, Jason!

Great, central, close to beach and restaurants. Especially liked that the apartment was so big and that it was possible to be also on the balcony. There was everything we needed.

I seldom try a product that exceeds expectations but this Airbnb choice was better than I had expected and I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a base to work from in Nelson.

Such a beautiful location. It was absolutely worth travelling further than Nelson to stay in this exquisite location.

If you’re looking for a home away from home in this area - look no further. We absolutely loved the peace and quiet, walks around the stunning grounds picking apples and plums off the many, many fruit trees and feeding the very funny and cute goat, sheep and chickens. A 40 minute drive to Abel Tasman national park we were blown away by the local scenery. And on our more restful days we had wine and beers on the balcony after a kayak on the lake at the property. Carmel and Danny were full of recommendations, local knowledge and were the most welcoming and hospitable hosts we’ve come across. We can’t wait to stay again.

We rode our bikes up a gentle slope to reach The Loft. Caroline met us shortly after we had arrived and welcomed us warmly. Finding out that we were down to two bread rolls for the night, she kindly offered to bring over some food from her family home! The home itself was a welcome oasis after a long day of biking. The sheets were clean, the utensils were pristine and the fact that we had our own balcony also allowed me to take a Timelapse of the sunset on my new GoPro. Thank you Caroline for your kindness and for hosting us in your beautiful home.

A great find central to all that Nelson has to offer! We loved our stay at the River House. Spacious and well appointed home and a lovely garden, and walkable to so much. Highly recommend m!

We have had the most beautiful stay at Meredith's Airbnb. Meredith was a fantastic host, easy to communicate with and sent through local recommendations of places to visit. Her home is in a wonderful location, so close to town, local attractions, supermarkets and the bus station. The beds were very comfy, the courtyard was private and the whole house was clean. We will definitely retun to stay here and i will happily recommend this to others. Meredith was kind to also drop off some yummy homemade cheese scones which was a special treat. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Convenient to town but far enough out to enjoy more residential living. Very clean and nice area for all the gather. Great communicator and very flexible to help us with check-in. Recommend a stay here!

A genuine home away from home. Centrally located making driving to any of the attractions Nelson has to offer that much easier. The home was tidy and clean with more than enough amenities to make our stay that much more relaxing. We won’t be looking for another place to stay when it comes to accomodation in Nelson for the family - Helen’s home is our number 1 choice.

Very comfortable and tidy home, hosts put the fire on before arriving which was great. Impressive views and large home.

We really enjoyed our time at Emily’s place, the photos don’t do it justice. The house was much larger than we thought it would be. It fitted our group of 6 very well. Also there’s a really nice coffee shop just a 20 minute walk away 😊

We enjoyed our stay at Saskias place. Very clean, amazing views, great location. Beds were comfortable and shower good. The driveway was a little tricky to navigate at first, but if you are confident with backing then this is definitely the best way down the drive and it gets easier the more you do it.
