Holiday rentals with beach access in Sullivan County

James saved our cozy Valentine's Day getaway after another host cancelled on us with less than 36 hours to check-in. This cabin exceeded expectations in beauty and peacefulness. Wish I could have enjoyed more of the property but with the snow it's was tough to get around (although stunning to look at). Perfect place to disconnect and unwind.

I truly enjoyed staying at Christopher’s place. It was so quiet and peaceful. The house has everything you need to feel right at home. Great layout. I loved the nook upstairs where the tv is. I also enjoyed coloring with the art supplies and adults coloring book provided. Christopher also has some bookshelves with interesting books of many kinds. You’re sure to find something interesting to read. Thanks for a great stay!

Jennifers home was perfect for our needs on our long weekend trip. The hot tub was a big hit with our kids as was the bunk beds and arcade games. The house is conveniently located near the main lodge making access to the pool, marketplace, restaurant and garbage receptacles easy. Our only complaint was the weather prevented us from spending more time outside.

This house is a must stay if you are coming to the area, especially for Ski- Big Bear. The house is warm, cozy, clean, and very comfortable. We loved this house and all of the wonderful recommendations provided in Erin’s guidebook. Looking forward to our next trip back!

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very accommodating for the 7 of us, and we especially appreciated that we were all able to fit in the family room and at the dining table. We are a very tall family, so we did not perfectly fit on the beds length-wise, however we were aware of this beforehand. It has a nice view of the river, some easy hiking paths nearby, and Callicoon is a cute little town ~4 minute drive away where we went out for a great dinner one night. The sulfur smell in the water was very present and a bit unsettling, but by no means did this affect us enjoying our stay. The house was beautiful, clean and spacious and I would recommend staying here.

The place is peaceful and a good and solid base to explore Legoland and the beautiful trails and foliage in the area. Richard and Maryann were great, and we are very grateful that Richard helped prepare a fire for us. Just remember to buy some firewood at the local gas station. Easy walk down to the beautiful lake where they keep a small rowboat for use. It rained unfortunately when we were set to go boating so we missed out. Saved for future Legoland visits!

We very much enjoyed our time staying at the Little Haus. The place was a clean and had a cozy feel. I liked that the living space was open. The location is great! Very scenic. Melanie and Roger were very responsive and helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay. Lots of room, very clean and the beds were really comfortable which is a rare find for an Airbnb. Perfect location for skiing and snowboarding at Big Bear. We did have a problem with the lock on the door not working and by the next morning it was fixed. Very responsive and helpful.
