we had a wonderful stay at Sepalinka. we wished to have more evenings. she is a very responsive and available host, helped by two very gentle housekeepers who are always close by to help you with any requests. One of our best stay. thank you for every, we will come back!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb hosted by Ruwan, and it was a delightful experience. Ruwan was an extremely warm and welcoming host, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to both the beach and Coconut Tree Hill. The lush green property felt almost like staying in a forest, offering a serene environment. The breakfast provided was very good, with a variety of delicious options. The room was a bit small, but it didn't affect our comfort during the stay. Additionally, Ruwan offers to help plan activities in and around Mirissa, which could add a lot of value to your trip. Despite the minor detail about the room size, the stay had its positive aspects, particularly Ruwan's hospitality, the excellent breakfast, and the beautiful surroundings. This Airbnb is a great choice for travelers looking for a welcoming host and a beautiful location.

We loved our stay! We wanted a place to rest and unwind while travelling through Sri Lanka and this fit our needs perfectly. The housekeeper, Kasthuri was so pleasant and we had the best breakfasts. Thank you!

Maya’s place was absolutely lovely! Nestled in the hills in Kandy it provided some peace from the hustle and bustle of the city. Unfortunately, Sri Lanka was experiencing some nationwide power cuts when we were here, but Maya was very helpful in keeping us updated with what was happening and providing candles for us. Breakfast was delicious and Maya made us feel so comfortable and right at home. One small small improvement would be to have a second mug and provide some knives and forks. Thank you again Maya!

The house was super beautiful on the inside and outside the star and the host did such a wonderful job. It was in the major intersection and easy to find and do things around the area. It was such a wonderful experience. Will be back again when in trinco

We had an incredible stay at Dilan’s place in Sri Lanka! Traveling as two families, the pool quickly became a daily highlight for both kids and adults—it was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for relaxing. The house itself was spotless, comfortable, and equipped with plenty of amenities that made our stay easy and enjoyable. Safety was never a concern, and the location was convenient, with many great restaurants nearby. What truly set this experience apart was Dilan’s outstanding hospitality. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, offering helpful recommendations and always being available when we had questions. It felt like we were genuinely cared for throughout our stay. A special highlight was the traditional Sri Lankan breakfast prepared by Dilan’s family—it was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. We can’t recommend this place enough and will certainly be returning in the future. Thank you, Dilan, for making our trip so special!

Lal and his family took such good care of us, when we visited them in Nuwara Eliya. We had the chance to come with Lal on a 4-5 hours trek/walk in the mountains surrounding Nuwara Eliya for a small amount of money and he knows so much about nature. We found it very interesting and really appreciated him sharing his knowledge. In the evening Grace, his wife, and Rumeni, his daughter, cooked us the most delicious Sri Lankan dinner, while teaching us about the spices they use, and we loved it! The food was the best we’ve had so far, and we’ve already had 1 week of delicious food here. Also we can’t wait to try to make some of it ourselves, when we get home. A little advice is to pack enough warm clothes, because the place get quite cold in the evening and nighttime. Rumeni was so sweet to give us a warm water pillow that we brought to bed, and that was very nice ☺️ Also there is only cold water in the shower, but we’re used to ice baths, so we were okay with that 😉

5 min from the beach and up in the jungle, it’s the best place to stay if your looking for the calm. Breakfast and Yoga sessions were great. The staff very kind. I recommend 100%.

So, you’re obviously looking for accommodation in south-west Sri Lanka – well don’t look any further than Sailor’s Bay. From the minute you enter this paradise, you will be welcomed and charmed by Dilan and his family. The environment is gorgeous – any stress totally disappears. Nothing is too much trouble. They are engaging, and genuinely go out of their way to ensure that every second of your stay is a second to remember. Our family (13 – 3 generations – ages 2 – 74) was continually astounded by their willingness to do the best by us . It was a sad time when we left, but happy in the knowledge that we will return. So, take my word for it – Sailor’s Bay will not disappoint even the most pedantic traveler.

I only stayed over night. Short experience was good

I was in Colombo for work, followed by a vacation with my family. Romesh's place was perfect for my 2 weeks of work in Colombo. The apartment is centrally located close to several restaurants. Romesh and Janak were very responsive throughout my stay. Check in was very easy and Janak welcomed me and oriented me to the place. The apartment is very well maintained with AC in all the rooms, and a good WIFI connection. The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, microwave and all the implements for cooking and eating. The location is secure and I had no concerns about safety or security. Hotel Janki is close to the apartment and I had several meals there and use of the swimming pool for a small fee. When I am in Sri Lanka, I normally stay in my own house, which is currently rented out. Romesh's place was as good as staying at my own house. Thank you.

This was our second stay at Fazil's place, and it felt just as homely and secure as the first time. A special thanks to Fazil's wife for her exceptional culinary skills – we thoroughly enjoyed her delicious and beautifully presented meals. Fazil and his family are incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. While the surrounding area is compact (as is typical for Kandy), Fazil's place stands out as quiet and peaceful. The natural water feature across from the house and the small stream running alongside it create a soothing ambiance with the gentle flow of water. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return!

The Spice House is a truly beautiful place to stay, it is so green, amazing rooms, peaceful and kind hosts/staff. The bed and pillows were so comfortable too!

We had a lovely week staying at Mingomango. The location is off on a side street away from the main road with a lovely chill out area facing the river. The beach is a short walk away and you’ll be at the main part of the beach break in 20 mins. The place was as advertised, clean and with all the amenities needed. The hosts are very nice, responsive and have a lot of helpful tips for the area.

Everything was perfect. The host Mali was friendly, accommodating, helpful. He arranged for us a ride from both the airport and a tuk tuk for a trip nearby and even a bus escort. He is even willing to help us with more transfers. He provided us with a great dinner upon request. We were able to keep the room longer the next day. He also gave us advice on nice places all over Sri Lanka. His restaurant was great too. Delicious food. We can only recommend. We couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. We give 100/10. 🤩

We are extremely satisfied with our stay at Dreamtime. The staff are absolutely wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast was a real Sri lanka experience and we very much appreciated it. We had a wonderful time at this place which is just outside the center while here you can relax in absolute tranquility. The rooms are well equipped, with a very comfortable bed that ensures a good night's sleep. We were particularly impressed by the pool – refreshing and perfect for relaxing, with beautiful loungers in an idyllic setting. The whole team was exceptionally friendly and thoughtful. An absolute highlight was the food: the small menu offers excellent dishes in the evening, and after four weeks in Sri Lanka we can say that the Rice & Curry here was one of the best. Breakfast was also a pleasure – rich and tailored to our needs individually. Sitting under the tree in the morning in the garden, starting the day in peace and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere was just perfect. If you are looking for a first-class accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the heat, this is the place. Absolutely recommended

We stayed at for a week and came to appreciate the serenity after the hustle of Galle. The home cooked food was amazing. The best we ate in Sri Lanka. The monkeys and birds kept us entertained. So did the mosquitoes - be warned. We loved the pool, and Praneeth brought us beers and pool towels - you have to ask but they are very obliging. The site is far steeper than we imagined. It is a hybrid homestay hotel. No kitchen or longer stay facilities, but they will provide food and what you need if you ask. Bring an extra pillow and eye mask if you want to be comfy - and a blanket, but it is clean and pretty. I was a bit shocked at the shower/bath - more a trough and I was scared to climb in. But I got the hang of it and enjoyed the ritual. I would not recommend for people with mobility issues. We hired a driver. Essential. He cursed the road though... it was rough on his car. In all, a nice hide away for a short break from the hectic pace of Galle, clean, nice hosts and great food.

Had one of the best experiences at Sunrise palace, we missed our flight and needed a quick booking for a place to stay, I bumped into Sunrise Palace and instantly was booked in. I got to the air bnb it's in the inside street but once the gate opens it looks beautiful, the place is big, sleeps alot of people, extremely clean, balcony in the rooms, extremely clean washrooms, impeccable stay I had the service was phenomenal, the food was fresh and tasty, we all had the omelet and wow it tasted so healthy and gave us fruits and fresh juice, as well as water bottles. This place is just amazing and I will be back in March thank you so much !
