Beautiful modern home with huge windows and sliding doors that make you feel like your outdoors, and excellent indoor/outdoor flow. It was great staying here with kids and having them play outside on the nice lawn. The neighbours have goats that you can feed, which was a fun activity to do each day. We loved having the pup, Cookie, come to visit. She is quite boistrous (at time of writing) which is something to be mindful of you have smaller children. There was no aircon, but huge doors and windows create excellent airflow, and the whole place is double glazed. we loved our stay here and would recommend it as a comfortable and convenient place to stay.

What a great cottage in an excellent location. It was located in a lovely meadow on the outskirts of Arrowtown but it was an easy 1km walk into town. The cottage had everything you could want for a short visit. Both the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. The was lots of outside seating. It was perfect for a short stay.

We were a group of 8 that stayed the night after doing the bike ride from Cromwell to Clyde. Brenda was super helpful and responded quick to messages. House was great for what we wanted (living room couches are so comfy) and heaps of space for us to chill out. Great spot 🩷

Photos don’t do the view justice. Jeremy was a great host. This is a cabin type experience. We stayed in the winter and used the cottage as a home base for skiing and other activities which was great. Quick ride over to Arrowtown and Queenstown but far away enough to feel private and peaceful. Some important points regarding previous reviews I read about the place being “cold”…the ground floor is all slate stone…as Jeremy recommended, just bring some sandals or slippers to wear around. There is a large heat pump, a lovely pot belly stove, and space heaters and all the beds have blanket heaters which we actually didn’t use because they were too hot…so it’s easy to stay warm and the view and coziness are well worth it, but if you’re expecting a thermostat in a hotel room that you set and leave…this wouldn’t be the place for you. We loved our stay and the host was very responsive.

Amazing location among the vines. Very quick 1 night stay, but lovely. Could be a bit tricky to find, but hosts give explicit instructions. Hosts quick to respond and thorough. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, and in the middle of all the encompassing activity or relaxation. Would return.

A wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. The cottage was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and a good shower. Having access to a washer and dryer was so helpful. I highly recommend the homemade, delivered-to-your-door breakfast—fantastic, fresh, and delicious. Don’t miss out on the wood-fired hot tub experience either; soaking under the night sky in the peace and quiet of their property was truly special. The hosts were friendly and responsive, as were their cuddle-seeking golden retrievers. Cromwell has more to offer than you might expect, from wineries to stone fruit stands. The stay was also very modestly priced, especially for what you get. Felt grateful to have been there.

We instantly felt at home in this very modern, well-appointed and comfortable space. Anne and Steve were so welcoming. Although they live nearby, we felt that our beautiful space was secluded. Beautiful starry nights, very fresh air and several fine wineries just down the road a bit. We'd love to return!

Ample space for big families. House is fully equipped with well stock pantry. Has a nice garden. House is located in the heart of Cromwell with many fruit farms nearby. Driveway to house was a little narrow and easy to miss. Recommend to slow down and approach the location. Sarah is very responsive and a great host!

We had a wonderful family getaway the home accommodated eight guests very comfortably with all the facilities required to make you feel like you were at home. Very quiet neighbourhood but still close enough to Arrowtown and all facilities to really enjoy Queenstown and its surroundings. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a very comfortable stay.

Our stay was filled with serenity, privacy peaceful evenings and dark skies. Perfect location to walk to wineries and being on the bike trail. The scenery was breath taking. The cleanliness and beautiful bed linen was not unnoticed. It was so nice to meet the owners who completely respected privacy but also open to providing local recommendations and having a chat. We absolutely loved our 5 days at Jan and Murray's, their place was perfect in every way for our needs. Easy 5 min walk to the main street with its restaurants, cafes and beautiful river walk. The place was spotless, very nicely fitted out and furnished, and has everything you would need for a extremely comfortable and lovely stay including a complimentary bottle of wine. We would highly recommend it and will certainly be returning, thank you Jan and Murray.

Great place on a beautiful little winery, we had some minor issues (some flies inside that left immediately out the windows when opening them all, and a smell in the bathroom that we informed Lucie of and am sure they’ll take care of immediately for the next guest), but Lucie was very kind and helpful in helping us understand the space after some minor confusion and made us feel very welcome. Situated just out of town it’s close enough to everything you’ll need while being quiet enough to give a sense of being remote. Overall a good experience and can recommend a stay here to anyone who is interested in the space!

The place was very stylish and clean. Check in and out was super easy and the host was great at communicating. Only note I will add is that the granny flat is below the main house and you can hear running around above. Also, as described in the listing the only bathroom is through the main bedroom so definitely suited for a small family.

This was our second stay here - it was as lovely and comfortable as last time. This time we even got a visit from the very affectionate cat, and had the delight of being able to feed the ducks, hens, rooster and the gorgeous highland cows. The space is well equipped, the surrounds are so peaceful, and the host is very responsive.
