Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Southern Maine Coast

The accommodation is located in a quiet area and a short distance from the beach. I highly recommend this affordable place for a stay in Old Orchard Beach!

This cottage was ideal for our group. It is atypical in that the ‘bunk room’ is good for sleepovers with the younger crowd. And, living/dining is perfect for game nights & movie nights. The simple kitchen & 2 baths made it perfect for our 8 able-bodied friends. The awkward stairs & short ceilings could be deal breakers for any parties exceeding 5’10” or with mobility issues. But, plenty of towels & hot water for longer haired kiddos who needed showers after a late October swimming down by the pier… which is walkable, but also a super short drive.

Jeff was super responsive to me when I had questions. The space was beautiful, clean, and easily accessible. Jeff provided everything you might need for your stay. Would recommend!

This is an older ranch with a spacious kitchen and super comfortable beds. A beautiful beach is steps down the road. It is the first house off the highway, so you may hear traffic noise. There is a dehumidifier, which you will need to turn to the highest setting. The host is friendly and very responsive.

I had a fantastic experience at this Airbnb! The place was spotless, well-decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and made check-in and check-out seamless. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet enough for a relaxing stay. I would definitely book again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!

We were a group of 10+ women ranging in ages from 16 to 60 something. Moms, sisters, cousins, aunties and long time friends gathering for our annual “girls weekend”. A tradition spanning over 30 plus years, our group’s dynamics may have changed a bit - but not our excitement of coming together once a year. For the size of our group we require some standard needs: enough beds to sleep comfortably, enough bathrooms to accommodate all of us, a decent size cooking area, plenty of room for us to be social and room for all our vehicles. The Honey Bear House checked all those boxes. Kerri was very attentive to us, checking in on us at the start of the weekend and quickly responding to our texts. The house was as she describes it, plenty of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, pots/pans, bowls & appliances, toaster & toaster oven, drip coffee & Keurig, lots of mugs! We supplemented with paper products & personal towels. Perfect spot for an extended family gathering!

Loved our stay here in Wolfeboro. Such a beautiful home and property. The added touch of games, toys, and books made it so comfortable and relaxing that we hardly needed to leave the house. Would love to come back again someday!

We had a wonderful girl's trip staying in Diana's house! We walked to the beach and to Scratch bakery (twice). The house was perfect for the five of us with a great sitting area to hang out and chat. The house was clean and the instructions for cleaning up were easy to follow.

Susan is a wonderful host. The location is incredible, with lots of excellent local spots within walking distance. It's east to squeeze in some time at the Art Museum, too, since it's around the corner basically.

Margaret is an extremely pleasant host. Our experience couldn't have been better from booking thru checkout. Our stay completely met our expectations and was perfect for our family of 4 (all grown individuals) and our dog. We had the pleasure of running into Margaret and her family and that was a complete validation of the quality of our fantastic experience. Thank you!

Everything was quiet and peaceful during this stay. I think there were downstairs neighbors in the building that were quiet and respectful. For 4 adults, this space was spacious, clean and comfortable.

This is the kind of airbnb I'm excited to visit and support -- really lovely, cozy place with a lot of character and everything we needed to make ourselves at home for a week. The proximity to Chocorua is fantastic and it's a good spring board to the lakes region & and the White Mountains. Becky is fantastic - super friendly, responsive, and kind. The wifi was strong enough for me to work there for a few days and we had all the supplies we needed to cook for ourselves. The only issue was the road noise, which was pretty loud during the day, but thankfully quieter in the nights.

Cozy, clean, and super close to downtown. Great location. Overall great place to stay! Would recommend.

I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Portland! The apartment was adorable, very clean and in a perfect location. Alex had an entire list of recommendations that we found very helpful! We will definitely be back!

The loft was incredible. It was peaceful for being right downtown. Tons of character while making you feel right at home. The bed and linens were excellent! Can’t wait to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Rick’s place. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy, with plenty of room for us to spread out. Close to area attractions and restaurants as well. We would definitely go back.

This was a great place to stay. First, the heat was great for a two-bedroom condo. We were warm! The condo has everything you need for a stay. We also appreciated that TVs in the bedrooms as well as the living room. We were a short 10-minute drive to Attitash, 17 minutes to Wildcat, and about 10 minutes to North Conway. So the location was perfect. I'm sure anyone would enjoy there stay here.

I’ve stayed here a number of time now. It’s located in a great all season area. Check in is simple and there is lots to do within short driving distance. I felt bad we pestered Bill with questions because of internet/TV problems that required repair from the cable company. Turns out Bill was also traveling but made sure everything was working in less than a day. He was very responsive the entire time trying to trouble shoot from afar.

Host was very easy to communicate with. Unit is big and comfortable, pool and spa were amazing, kids loved it, can't wait to return!

This was the perfect condo for our NH getaway. We loved the beautiful location, with a gorgeous view of the mountains and river. It was so cozy inside and the fireplace was perfect. Trish had everything you needed to feel comfortable and at home. The condo was very clean and we loved the modern updates that were done throughout. It’s also very close to Loon Mountain and to the downtown Lincoln area with plenty of food options! Trish was also very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again!

This was my second trip to this beautiful condo and it was an amazing stay as expected, everything was just as pictured we really enjoyed the book with all the local recommendations we spent our days snowboarding at Burke my favorite family mountain and the afternoons enjoying some sights and exploring the northern kingdom of Vermont can't wait to come visit again

We had a fabulous time at Meg’s Condo. The location was perfect and the unit was spotless! Also the beds were very very comfortable!! Highly recommend this to anyone!!
