Holiday rentals with a balcony in South Athens

We spent one week in Athens at this apartment. The area is lively and very close to the subway, restaurants, bars and there is a park on the hill, which only takes around 20 minutes by foot. From there, you have a marvelous view to the sea on one side and the acropolis on the other. Athens is a great city anyways and spending some time in this area was perfect for our visit. The communication was very friendly and super easy going, helpful and flexible.

Very clean and well-maintained place in a central area of Athens! The area is not the best but comfortable for everything Toni is very kind!

A highly recommended apartment. The host was always available and answered all our questions quickly. The apartment was super tidy, clean and with everything we needed for our stay. You have to wait about 30 minutes before using the shower, which can be a bit uncomfortable, but the rest was excellent.

We loved the house. Our host responded quickly to all our requests. And gave extra support. The kitchen and bathroom are quite enough . Very central neighbourhood. In a convenient spot for all kinds of shopping. Bright and warm.

Penny was a fantastic host! She was so accommodating when our plans had to change last minute due to airline delays. Her place was convenient and we felt very safe. She even provided directions on how to use the metro, which were accurate and incredibly helpful, Would highly recommend this as an affordable, accessible and beautiful location to spend some time in Athens!

It’s a very well connected place and our host was very communicative! The neighborhood is not super touristy but not far from area connected to acropolis. We enjoy our stay a lot!

The apartment is lovely, clean, well appointed, as described in the listing, and well located, but yes, the roof deck is fantastic! There is a view of the Acropolis from the roof deck. Our check in was easy and flexible. The location is so close to everything, but relatively quiet at night. There was some noise at night, but it usually subsided by 10:30 pm. It is close to the subway and so many of the local attractions. We could just pop back into the apartment for water, a rest, a bathroom break, whatever, while we explored the city. Tons of restaurants just a short walk away. We would definitely rent this apartment again if we return to Athens.

Anna and her team were spectacular. They always responded to all of our questions quickly. They were helpful with anything we needed. The Airbnb was exactly what you would picture Greece to be. We had a fantastic stay at Mario’s! The space was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, but the real highlight was the view—it was absolutely breathtaking. Whether I was sipping coffee in the morning or winding down in the evening, the scenery made every moment feel extra special. Mario was incredibly welcoming and responsive, making sure everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. This was our first multi-family international trip, and staying here was definitely the right choice. We explored several of the nearby smaller port towns for dinner, and everything we wanted to see and do was easily accessible by car. One day, we even stayed local and enjoyed the beach, which was just a short walk from the house. Everyone in the neighborhood was so friendly—even taking the time to show my parents how to look for wild asparagus! It was truly a perfect trip and the perfect place to stay. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat

Everything was fine, lovely place ideal for a relaxing holiday with beautiful scenery. The hosts were nice and so was their lovely cat.

This chic home was in the perfect location for our week in Athens. Sitting in a peaceful pedestrian enclave in the “old” part of the city, only a moments walk from the Areopagus, Ancient Agora, Acropolis, Filopappou Hill, a wonderful variety of restaurants & so much more! Vasilis was our friendly and thoughtful host. He couldn’t have done more to make our visit to his city a happy & memorable one. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel at home & comfortable in this well equipped, spotlessly clean home. Our Welcome Hamper with cereal, fruit, milk, water, bread, biscuits & cheese was very much appreciate. We chose to spend part of every day relaxing on the spacious roof terrace. It really does have the most mesmerising views! It might be worth knowing however, that at the time of our visit, there was noisy construction work going on next door due to a house being built on one side and maintenance work being done to an adjoining house on the other side!

We can only agree with the enthusiastic reports. Constantine's Airbnb is perfect in every detail, from the high quality beds to the fully equipped kitchen to the sparkling clean bathrooms. Communication with Constantine and his staff was also professional and friendly. In short: If next time Athens, then definitely back here!

Good area,- no fuss, by car 15 minutes to the center. I could instantly find parking under the house. Spacious in the apartment, quiet neighborhood, clean with all the required things. There is a supermarket nearby if needed. If you have a car, it's a must. We recommend it.

Loved the location, a few minutes walk to the Metro Station in one direction, and to the supermarket in the opposite direction. The parking space was useful when we didn't want to drive out. The entrance lock was high-tech. Lots of power sockets around the place, and lots of extra towels provided. Yannis was kind enough to give us an early check-in and a late checkout, which was much appreciated. The place was very spacious and comfortable and Yannis even provided bedroom slippers and a sewing kit. We were met by his associate at check-in, who showed us around. There were bakeries and cafes around the area. Would definitely recommend the place.

Great location with lot of restaurants and cafes around. City downtown and Acropolis are in walking distance. Super responsive host.

The place was absolutely beautiful. Very clean and great view of the acropolis. The hosts were most attentive hosts I have ever experienced and that made the stay so much better. A lot of places for food and groceries were within walking distance. I would definitely stay again.

It is a stylish and convenient apartment in one of the most central parts of the historic center, right next to the metro, with access to all of Athens. It will definitely be our first choice in every visit to Athens!

The home is just as described. We especially liked the great terraces and the great design of the accommodation. Within 25 minutes walk you are in the center, but there is also a variety of great restaurants in the neighborhood.

I had a really late check-in around 1:30 and Dimitris was there to open and show me the apartment along with insightful instructions for the area.The apartment was clean, stylish, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—close to everything but still quiet and peaceful at night. Our host was responsive, friendly, and made also check-out flexible. We had a great stay and would definitely book again!
