Holiday houses in Milos

We had 6 of us staying at this villa. It was exactly as pictured. We loved the location, it was perfect for our group. It is about 1/2 hour from the airport. We did rent a car, which I think is absolutely needed in this area. The roads are very interesting getting to the house from the highway. And we loved it. Lavrio is about a 15 minute drive and we went there almost daily. There is a grocery store on the way to the house from the airport, that Mario suggested to us. We drove to the airport and parked there for the day on two occasions and took the metro in to Athens. It worked out wonderfully and was so easy to figure out where to get off and on. I would highly recommend Mario and this house. It was peaceful, secluded(ish), plenty of room and you cannot beat the views. Mario met us at the house, he asked midweek how things were and provided some information on things around the area. There are some lovely sandy beaches nearby. Highly recommended!

Anders's flat was the perfect base to explore Athens from. It's extremely spacious, beautifully designed, central and has everything you need. Communication was easy and extremely helpful for anything I needed during my stay. Would definitely stay there again! 10/10!!

Still emotional & flying high; a stunning place to spend a born-day celebration having fun & enjoying excellent food with friends. We used transport arranged by Agathi almost every day & wasn't once disappointed wherever. Agathi & everyone in her family & all those we came in contact with through their recommendations & esp both drivers have been a light & am humbled to have the privilege of meeting. Every visit to either Lavrio, Sounio, or Athens were amazing no matter where we went or what we did. Food was spectacular, water is drinkable (tested everywhere i go!) locals are kind & courteous, always willing to help. We look forward to returning to Sounion_Lavrion & being in that fabulous peace once again. Windy in March, yet warm when you get off the coast.. what else would one expect right on the water? Keep that light of hospitailty & local knowledge (safest food!) shining for one and all to see. I wish you prosper in every sense that is truly living. In humility and grace. hx

Irene and Kostas were really welcoming and it’s a lovely place in walkable distance to Parikia old town. The place was really clean, spacious and well equipped and also had plenty of space to park outside, which was really useful. Would highly recommend!

We loved our stay here, it was so great to have Dina show us in, it would be a little tricky to find without her. The lanes are a maze which absolutely adds to the charm getting lost in the little alley ways. It was much more beautiful than the photos showed, inside and out.

The view is amazing at this apartment, from the window in each room, and from the balcony. Lots of space, comfortable bed. There is a closet with hangers and also shelves. Table and chairs on balcony and also small dining table and chairs in kitchen. The washer was handy and we hung out clothes to dry on the rack on the balcony . It's about 12 minute walk from the port, including stairs. We walked but it's also reasonable to get a donkey assistance with luggage (definitely ask Christina to reserve the donkey if you do). Would stay here again.

Great location in the center of Athens, clean and tidy the house. Dimitris friendly and helpful! His aunt is so sweet!

This homestay is a gem of a place tucked away into the quieter streets of Tripiti, while still being walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops and the lively town of Plaka. Nikos’s place is perfect for two, with a cozy clean atmosphere. The bedroom and bathroom are clean and neat. The view from the balcony is simply spectacular - and sunsets are beautiful. It’s worth every penny. We had a fabulous time - enjoying the simple joys of the locality & the natural beauty of Tripiti.

Great house with plenty of space and many balconies to have a meal or just hang out. Lovely hosts, very helpful and responsive. The house is super close to the local beach and not far from a small cafe. The AC was a must in August as it gets quite hot. Everything was great, although the only suggestion we would make is add a second toilet somewhere else than in the single bathroom as it can get ‘logistically’ complicated with large groups. Thanks!
