Holiday rentals with a balcony in Greece

We spent one week in Athens at this apartment. The area is lively and very close to the subway, restaurants, bars and there is a park on the hill, which only takes around 20 minutes by foot. From there, you have a marvelous view to the sea on one side and the acropolis on the other. Athens is a great city anyways and spending some time in this area was perfect for our visit. The communication was very friendly and super easy going, helpful and flexible.

Lovely top floor unit with a huge balcony and spacious balcony that has views to the North and East. The bed is soft and A/C unit is quiet at night should you need it, but we were surprised how cool the apartment kept despite being 4 floors up. The living room is spacious with a lovely view of the sea and a decent kitchen set-up. The bathroom might not be for everyone as the shower is small and not completely enclosed, but it was not problem for us. Giorgios kindly left us a basket of fruit and a bottle of wine and he allowed us to check-in early, which was a big help for our schedule.

A highly recommended apartment. The host was always available and answered all our questions quickly. The apartment was super tidy, clean and with everything we needed for our stay. You have to wait about 30 minutes before using the shower, which can be a bit uncomfortable, but the rest was excellent.

This is a wee gem and a whole lotta more comfortable, clean, and homey than one normally gets on an air bnb. The neighbourhood is easily walkable with something new happening on each block. Very comfortable, safe vibe. Apparently it was aliitle like Athens used to be in the 60's. It feels like real Greek families live here and students, younger people abound. The restaurants and cafes, within cooee, range from 5 star down to your favourite family cafe. We felt so at home we booked in on our way back through Athens. The host is wonderfully clear, responsive and understanding. Would definitely recommend this place.

This place was sooo lovely. Would 100% recommend, the apartment feels like a luxury apartment from the lighting to the furnishings. The beds are so comfy, there’s air on throughout the flat. The flat is easy walking distances to restaurants and bars and only about a 10-15 min walk to the acropolis. It was a beautiful apartment and would highly recommend

We had a great stay and Penny was very helpful and responsive. There are lots of great restaurants and places to shop within walking distance. You can usually find parking within 5 minutes of the apartment.

We had a wonderful week in Athens and throughly enjoyed staying in Regina’s apartment. The check in with Regina’s representative was very efficient with a warm welcome from Katia. Regina’s apartment could not be better located for all the sights. We walked to all the museums and the Acropolis and there were some great restaurants nearby. Our favourite restaurant was Mpirmpilo. The apartment was very comfortable and quiet and just perfect to relax in over the Xmas break. Felt like we were staying in someone’s much loved home and it was a privilege to be there. We would certainly be happy to return again.

Spacious and clean. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Apartment was close to subway and a short walk to the central tourist sites.

It was all just impeccable. You get exactly what is promised and Evi is extremely accommodating and helpful, not to mention polite and nice. She responds very quickly and offers great directions and recommendations for restaurants and activities nearby. The space was clean and has everything you need. The view from the garden with grill and hammock is fabulous, with the sea in sight and quieter mountain scenery all around. The interior design is pleasant for the eye and put together with care. In addition, the beds in the air-conditioned bedrooms are also extremely comfortable, the unusual shower is just cool and it even offers you sun protection for the car. You can only warmly recommend it.

The apartment is lovely, clean, well appointed, as described in the listing, and well located, but yes, the roof deck is fantastic! There is a view of the Acropolis from the roof deck. Our check in was easy and flexible. The location is so close to everything, but relatively quiet at night. There was some noise at night, but it usually subsided by 10:30 pm. It is close to the subway and so many of the local attractions. We could just pop back into the apartment for water, a rest, a bathroom break, whatever, while we explored the city. Tons of restaurants just a short walk away. We would definitely rent this apartment again if we return to Athens.

Anna and her team were spectacular. They always responded to all of our questions quickly. They were helpful with anything we needed. The Airbnb was exactly what you would picture Greece to be. Great neighborhood. Excellent location. Very clean and comfortable. Thank you for helping make our family vacation a memorable experience!!

We have just spent 3 nights at Envangelous apartment. We cannot rate this highly enough.. Costas with whom we liaised is charming, an example for all air bnb hosts. He met us at a privately provided and secure parking spot, and escorted us into the old town. He personally introduced us to the duplex apartment which is spacious ( has 2 bathrooms) and stylishly renovated in the heart of the old town. Located in a pedestrian eating zone, one is spoiled for dining choice. We breakfasted on our sunny balcony. Excellent insulation and air con ensured a good nights sleep. Recommended without reservation!

We had 6 of us staying at this villa. It was exactly as pictured. We loved the location, it was perfect for our group. It is about 1/2 hour from the airport. We did rent a car, which I think is absolutely needed in this area. The roads are very interesting getting to the house from the highway. And we loved it. Lavrio is about a 15 minute drive and we went there almost daily. There is a grocery store on the way to the house from the airport, that Mario suggested to us. We drove to the airport and parked there for the day on two occasions and took the metro in to Athens. It worked out wonderfully and was so easy to figure out where to get off and on. I would highly recommend Mario and this house. It was peaceful, secluded(ish), plenty of room and you cannot beat the views. Mario met us at the house, he asked midweek how things were and provided some information on things around the area. There are some lovely sandy beaches nearby. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay in that little, very well renovated apartment. The garden with its view over Athens is unbeatable and the small room upstairs is very charming! The apartment has a lovely and well maintained atmosphere and offers a kitchen and bathroom with everything a family needs. Even binoculars! The bed downstairs maybe is a little small for two adults and the room has no air conditioning, which for october is fine but still a bit warm. The couch in the living room can be easily converted into a bed with a very firm mattress. We liked the area a lot, it’s quiet (though a primary school is next door) and we loved to sit on the terrace and enjoyed the view and the little garden! With metro and a little walk you can easily reach it after your adventures down in Athens! Gianni and his lovely mom gave us very warm welcome and showed us everything! Also he was very helpful with any questions we had. We recommend this home away from home and would definitely come back!

We had an incredible stay at Tonia's and Vardis' lovely home, and would recommend it to anyone who wants to live in an intimate street close to the sea, many restaurants, and shops! Thanks Tonia for everything!

This place is wonderful. It is a collection of a few traditional villas which have been beautifully renovated and decorated. Konstantinos offered us a slightly larger villa (Diktamos) which was decorated in the same style and furniture. The villa has everything you need, lovely welcome items, comfortable bed, amazing shower. There is a little mini market on site too open 24/7 for drinks or anything else you might need. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and you can see all the way to the sea. Small quiet village with a GREAT taverna, and lots of other places to eat in nearby villages (by car). It is a very windy road up the hill to reach the village but definitely worth it!!!! Remote and peaceful yet close enough to the coast and city that we could enjoy the Chania region. I definitely recommend.

Such a lovely property! Constantine's place was spacious and clean, and so well equipped beyond the basics. His pre-arrival information was very helpful and we took advantage of many of his recommendations. The location was very convenient, near to a metro station; we took the metro daily to get around the city. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Loved the location, a few minutes walk to the Metro Station in one direction, and to the supermarket in the opposite direction. The parking space was useful when we didn't want to drive out. The entrance lock was high-tech. Lots of power sockets around the place, and lots of extra towels provided. Yannis was kind enough to give us an early check-in and a late checkout, which was much appreciated. The place was very spacious and comfortable and Yannis even provided bedroom slippers and a sewing kit. We were met by his associate at check-in, who showed us around. There were bakeries and cafes around the area. Would definitely recommend the place.

Great location with lot of restaurants and cafes around. City downtown and Acropolis are in walking distance. Super responsive host.

Ioannis and Helene were wonderful hosts; very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was clean, amenities were provided and the listing was accurate. We were undisturbed by any inconvenience throughout our stay and we even noticed that previous guests had left thank you notes for our hosts which gave us confidence we were in good hands. The apartment was fitted with adequate measures to prevent becoming too cold or too hot and everything worked as it should! Overall a 5* experience, great value and with impeccable hosts! The only thing I could think of to improve our stay would be for Ioannis to ensure the kettle was fully descaled before our arrival. However, it was NOT unclean and this is a point for a more picky Brit than myself to point out. I look forward to staying with our hosts again when I am next in Athens. Thank you so much Ioannis and Helene; you were outstanding :)

Excellent penthouse/maisonette, with large balconies, fully equipped and decorated. The cleanliness and comfort it exudes, leaves the most difficult guest satisfied. Excellent choice. Highly recommended. We thank the hosts, and especially Efthimis, for their excellent hospitality.

We had a lovely couple of days. Dimitris met us on arrival (after 11pm). It was fantastic having a bottle of wine in the fridge on arrival especially so late at night. He was so god in providing us with additional information/ places to eat for my birthday & directions / tips for the football. 100% would recommend this accommodation.

Very comfortable apartment, fully equipped and perfectly clean. Quick walk to the metro. Heaters, shower and everything else worked great. Hosts are friendly and responsive. Walkable neighborhood with many stores and good restaurants nearby. Highly recommended.
