George's house is in a peaceful setting in a small village away from the crowds but only a 15 minute drive to shops, restaurants and the beach. Many hiking trails can be accessed in the surroundings. The house is spotless with everything you need and the terrace is very nice. The neighbors are very nice and welcoming while remaining discreet. George is a wonderful host. He is very accommodating and always available. I would highly recommend this house which is a peaceful oasis. Thank you for everything George!

We can only recommend this place. The view from the balcony is fantastic. What made this stay so special were the two hosts. Eugenia and Mihalis were so kind, friendly and caring. The dinner we ordered was best Cretan cuisine. They gave us lots of helpful tips for activities in the area.

This was the perfect place for me to come & have a quiet, private hermitage. In winter, there are no tourists. The beach is just a short drive away. Mind, in winter stone houses are hard to heat so bring layers if you plan to be at home a lot. Despoina and her family are kind, welcoming and generous people. I’m grateful to have called her place Home for 5 weeks and was a little sad to leave.

We feel fortunate to have found this apartment. The location near Sougia gave us 10 minute access to Dougia town with it's excellent restaurants and beach. The view from our deck was stunning and a perfect place for more ing coffee and sunset wine sipping. Reception was about the best we have ever had. Check in was seamless and the reception lady was so helpful. We love Sougia and the AirAirbnb
