Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Sitia

The house was super comfy and perfect for our trip with a baby as well. Marianthi and her husband were super nice and helpful! We had fresh fruits and herbs from the garden and enjoyed that it was only a short walk to the beach. The view from the house is very beautiful - straight over the bay and we appreciated the design and lovely gimmicks all over the house! Could totally recommend this place :)!

We had a wonderful time in Despina's apartment. We just liked everything and we felt welcome and comfortable. The description is great, the reality is much better. Despina is always helpful and responsive. We had some trouble finding the place. I wrote to Despina and she responded right away. She has arranged a meeting place with us. There, she was already waiting for us🙏. We really want to come back, there is still so much to discover in eastern Crete. Many thanks, dear Despina and best regards to your mom ❤️

We had an amazing stay in Agios Ioannis. The house is beautiful, clean, calm, with beautiful views and a great garden. Perfect location to escape tourism and enjoy the mountains. We highly recommend and hope to visit again!

This is the most special place I have ever been. These views are breathtaking. The hosts are the sweetest people ever!

As a couple staying here, we can recommend for a quiet and relaxing stay. Everything is as advertised: simple but clean. The terrace offers privacy and is surrounded by olive trees. Restaurants are on walking distance, as is the beach (20 min) if you can cope with the steep hill. As almost everywhere in Crete, a car comes in handy for any other trips.

Our stay in Mochlos was a dream. Right before season finished by the end of October. We did not feel like being in Airbnb but at a friend’s place. Maria’s place has everything you need (and even more). No matter if having breakfast on the terrace or watching stars at night from the rooftop - you’ll find your favorite spot. Mochlos is a beauty of a town. Despite its size coming with quite a variety of culinary offerings. Beach ist tiny but right in front of the house and the see is crisp and clear with an azure shimmer. Even without a car we did not miss (out) anything. The perfect touch of our stay was bumping into Maria on our last day. We loved it and will come back!

Had a wonderful 3 weeks at this home. It’s a fantastic location looking towards Agios Nickolas, absolutely stunning view. When we arrived I think we had bought winter with us as it was cold and wet. It was lovely to be met by Michael, who had lit the wood burner for us, a really nice touch. We also received a very warm welcome and amazing welcome gifts. The home has everything you need for your stay. Michael was very responsive and gave us information to help us with our stay. We met his lovely family too. All in all a great experience, and we would definitely recommend staying here. The surrounding area is also so beautiful with lots to see and discover.

It is a beautiful apartment, equipped with everything you need and furnished with a lot of love for detail! My daily highlight in the morning: The first cup of coffee on the balcony with unobstructed views of the sunrise 😊 The apartment is centrally located, beach, supermarket, shops and restaurants are within walking distance in a few minutes. In addition, Poppy and her parents are incredibly warm people who always make you feel welcome! We really enjoyed this Greek hospitality and look forward to seeing you again!!

We felt very comfortable in this apartment. Everything is there that is needed and above all it is very clean. The landlords are super easy to reach. We were warmly welcomed with wine, water and fruit and questions were clarified. The apartment is centrally located, but you have to keep in mind that the apartment is located on a hill that can be difficult to cope with on foot if you are somewhat limited - otherwise this is really no problem and with the car you can drive to the front door. The terrace is charming - we had our breakfast there in the morning and our wine in the evening and the weather played wonderfully during our stay in the first half of October. Restaurants are within walking distance and even the old town and some small beaches in the area we found easy walking distance. During the day we were always on the road - so all around a successful, beautiful vacation. The apartment is highly recommended.

Very beautiful large traditional Greek house. And an extraordinary garden with breathtaking views. With small seating areas hammocks , sun loungers. Splendid outdoor dining area. And a very warm and caring family welcome

Well-equipped home and nicely decorated for our holiday stay over Christmas:) We really liked being walking distance to the beach, easy parking, good communication and games for our kids to play at the apartment. We visited during the off season and holidays so not many places were open nearby but it is very walkable to get places in the busier seasons.

The apartment was ideally located, very close to the beach and restaurants, but we were not disturbed by any noise whatsoever. Plenty of space for a couple and a small child. The outdoor terrace has a good view of the sea. Magdalena was the perfect host, arranging transport to and from the airport and quickly responded to any questions we had. We basically had a very good time and will hopefully return in the future.

Maria, Thank you for a wonderful stay! I didn’t think it was possible but the apartment was even more beautifully than the photos. It was such a treat getting to enjoy our morning coffee on the balcony and look out into the valley. Everything was perfect for our stay and we wish we could have stayed longer.

We absolutely loved this villa, Mania very kindly greeted us at Midnight as we had a late flight, and yes the reviews are right, she arrived with the most amazing moussaka and even made a vegetarian one. Mania was always available for any advice/recommendations and managed the tricky combination of being present but not intrusive. There was also a really thoughtful welcome gift of homemade food waiting for us. The kitchen was really well equipped, and super clean, we ate in a lot and enjoyed dinners on the covered terrace. We loved the pool, the kids especially, we spent a lot of time in the pool as it was very hot. The beds were comfy, the rooms all have their own bathroom, and terraces, there was lots of thoughtful touches throughout. The garden is beautiful and I don't think we managed to sit in all the different seating areas in the week. The winner for me was the decor, it was so beautiful, it was like staying in house in a Home Decor magazine. We will definitely come back.

When we arrived they showed us everything important about the property. On the table was a handy guide with interesting things to see and do in the wider local area, very useful for us. During the whole stay, Manos was very friendly and very fast responding, so we always felt supported. The property itself is exactly as shown on the photos, just beautiful. We enjoyed our stay very much and when we come back to the area, we will definitely book again. Very much recommended!

Audrey was really helpful sorting out transfers and a shopping for when we arrived. The villa and pool area is decorated to a very high standard. We would thoroughly recommend visiting it is a great holiday location

this house is very comfortable, really nothing is missing for a maximum quality of stay...the environment is simply splendid with fantastic views...a very comfortable exterior too...a taverna 50 m walk away or you can eat very well for cheap.. Mike and his parents are very friendly ,generous people who do everything to make your stay unforgettable...and they succeed...we would almost want to keep this address for us ,so it's jewelry from every point of view...thank you to them and we think we'll come back quickly ...the geographical location is excellent for visiting, the beach of Val,Sitia, mochlos and all the surrounding walks...house recommended without reservation...

Amazing, and spacious villa, we were a big family of 10 and had an amazing time. This villa is a slice of heaven. Very close to the beach and many nice restaurants.

Despina is a great host who welcomed us with delicious food and gave us lots of insider tips about restaurants, nice locations etc. During our staying, she brought us special Greek sweets which are fantastic! I wrote her messages about the pillows and she brought us comfortable pillows later on which careful. We felt just like at home. The villa is amazing with beautiful view of the see. The private pool is our daily training ground. Our son was diving grabbing the coins which were stolen on the last day unfortunately. We had a lot of fun. If we will go back to Crete, we will definitely be the Gasts of Despina. We will never forget her hospitality and cordial friendship. We highly recommend her villas to all of you who enjoy life.
