Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Shinjuku City

I've used AirBnB in a number of countries. My mom also hosts a few AirBnBs at her multi-family unit. I mention this information to suggest I am very familiar with AirBnBs. This apartment is great. We stayed for two weeks (taking a short trip in the middle). Great location in a quiet neighborhood. Close to a 7-Eleven for quick and easy start to the day (or to finish the night). Close to Ueno for Shinkansen/museums/metro. Close to Nezu, too (and Nippori). Host is easy to communicate with. Place is clean. The only thing I would mention is if you are a taller person, just be aware of the ceilings/doorways. I'm a touch over 6ft. Showering will require you to watch your head. Not a negative. Just wanted to mention. Please be respectful if you stay here (and anywhere, honestly). This country deals with a lot of bad tourists. Don't be one of them.

The location was perfect - just a short walk from Kamikitazawa Station and surrounded by restaurants, shops, and entertainment options. The apartment itself was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Ted was a wonderful host, providing clear instructions and recommendations for exploring the area. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Tokyo! Convenient transportation, double glass soundproof doors and windows, but it will be quiet to sleep, fully equipped, clean environment

This place is spacious and comfortable, very close and convenient from Higashi Shinjuku station.There are two rooms in total, and three double beds, we have six people living in a row very suitable.The host was also very easy to reach when there was a problem.Thank you so much for the great place provided by a good host! One thing to note is that the disposable bath towels provided on this side are disposable, and it is recommended to bring your own by anyone who is not used to it.

The host responded quickly, and I was satisfied that the accommodation was clean without any clutter! The neighborhood was quiet and there was a convenience store nearby, so there was no inconvenience even in the late hours! And he gave me a guide to using the accommodation in English, and thanks to you attaching various images, I didn't have any problems using the accommodation even though I didn't know Japanese:)

As a group of 8, it was a fantastic experience staying in Japan within Hong-san's home. It was exactly how we imagined it to be and more. The house was absolutely amazing and rare to find within Japan as it is western-styled; suited for first time visitors. The neighborhood is quiet and perfect for walks, late night or midday. Our only complaint would be the distance between the main cities since we have to time our arrivals and exits around 11am-4pm respectively to avoid rush hour, however no other complaints. Meeting the Hong family was most pleasant. They were very helpful, caring and responsive. If the opportunity arises, we would love to chat again when we come back next year. We thank you once again for making our first friend group trip most memorable and making us feel at home.

It is a nice living area near Skytree, we came from the airport very easy, very convenient to the popular area, thank the host for the warm hospitality, we all had a great time in Tokyo for three days.

Have stayed here multiple times and of all the places i’ve stayed in Japan this is my favorite. Very spacious and can easily accommodate large groups. House is clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely recommend and look forward to my next visit.

The room was very well equipped with plenty of dishes and cups, perfect for a family with kids.The common spaces are spacious and very comfortable to stay in.Other than that, the apartment is in a prime location with many conveniences and dining options nearby.The host was also very kind and helpful, making the check-in process even more enjoyable.Our whole family had a great time here and can't recommend this place enough!

Accessible and near Ikebuburo Station. Lots of stores and restos within the vicinity of the property. Being near Donki is also a plus. Host also responded to queries quickly. 😊💯

This place is in a perfect Location. It's in a quiet neighborhood with Lawson and 7/11 right around the corner. Even though you're in a quit area you are just walking distance to everything you need. Mega Don Quijote - 5min walk, Parco Mall which my kids loved to visit because of the Pokémon and Nintendo Center - 7min walk and Shibuya Station is just a 10mins walk away. The house itself is amazing. Its very clean and modern with many great features. We had a family of 5 and fit with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room with the huge tv with Netflix was great to just relax and watch a movie. Two of the best features of the house that we used was the heated floors in the living room and the drying area in the shower worked amazing to dry off our things after walking in the rain. The only concerns I have are the indoor stairs are very steep for kids/elderly. We were very happy with our stay and Ayaka was a great host.

Great place, be mindful the access is through outside stairs. The best thing is the location the house is near to most of the shops and restaurants by walking distance we wished there were more than one shower but everything was absolutely perfect. Absolutely recommend this place.
