Apartment holiday rentals in Shinjuku City

We only stayed for one night on our return to Tokyo before flying home and wish it was longer. We prefer to stay just outside of the hustle and bustle, this was perfect. Comfiest bed we stayed in during our time in Japan. Simple check-in/out, clean, very quiet area and walking distance from Asakusa and metro stations. Great value for money.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay at June’s place. Excellent value, clean, kitchen and bath were great. We loved the heated floors! Very secure building and the elevator was a plus. June was friendly and responsive. No downside to staying here, perhaps only that it’s a bit of a walk to a larger grocery store. But we could buy most things at 7-11 or on our way home. The apartment felt like home after our 8 night stay.

Fantastic place. The location is great as its an easy walk to all the buzz of Shibuya, and also an easy stroll to the mark city bus station where the airport limousine buses depart from. The apartment was super clean, great to have a washing machine, and we liked that there was no key - just a door access code.

This was our second stay at this Section L location. We enjoyed our stay again so we will be back!

Had a great stay for about 26 days. It's like renting a real apartment and living there. You need to make your own food, buy your groceries, clean your clothes yourself. The only thing I missed a little bit because it was summer was a freezer, but with a supermarket a few minutes away you can buy the ice there. Station is about 15 minutes, but I always enjoyed the walk there. You can walk along a beautiful river for a bit to get the station. I didn't have any contact with other guests or neighbors, but the walls are thin and you can hear them sometimes. I can fully recommend this apartment if you don't want the hotel experience and more of a living experience

A perfect stay for a few days in Tokyo! The apartment was clean and spacious with incredibly helpful instructions throughout. The neighborhood was centrally located but also very quiet and peaceful. The subway station and several restaurants were a short walk away. Masami was very communicative as well and left us fun snacks to try :)

Selina’s listing was just as described! It was incredibly clean and perfectly sized for 1-2 people I’d say. It is near a bunch of shops and many restaurants and about a 10min walk away from the train station. Very satisfied with my stay. Will definitely be booking with Selina again (:

Great stay, lots of nice amenities. Area is very walkable, has a tons of bars, restaurants, and stores within steps of the apartment, and is really close to several train stations making it incredibly easy to access the rest of Tokyo. However, as a result of all the neat things to see and do right outside the door, Kabukicho is incredibly loud at almost every hour of the day and night, so definitely bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper. Yuki was a great host. Super helpful and responsive.

Great space for family, quiet, clean and convenience. 6 minutes walking distance to Ikebukuro C5 exit. At least 3 supermarkets close by. Close to airport shuttle bus.

The homeowner was very quick to respond, just like the photos and description, the hygiene and environment were great, would stay again next time!!!

We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The location was perfect—just a short walk to Tokyo Skytree and great restaurants. Our host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and went above and beyond to accommodate our baby, even providing diapers. The apartment was clean, cozy, and well-equipped. Highly recommend, especially for families!

As the equipment and items listed in the listing are available, the living room is large, overall it is very comfortable, and there is a large balcony and elevator, it is very good value for money, I recommend everyone. There is only one heater in the front and the back, so it is really a little cold in the room, and I happened to encounter the first spring snow in Tokyo. Fortunately, the cotton is still warm ~ The host is friendly and quick to respond, and the place is quite clean ~

Great place and Leticia is a really great host. She met us and walked us there since it is a 12 min walk from the metro, telling stories along the way. We had a great time staying here and this fit 5 of us comfortably.

I have skin sensitivity, so dust is an issue. I mean this when I say Ritsuko's place was immaculately clean. She was extremely responsive and proactive with local recommendations, and covered all my needs. Will absolutely come back if I'm in the area.

Unit is so good , clean . Have all facilities & the important is unit have elevator. not too far from Sugamo station. Sugamo area is very peaceful & calm. very recomend

Convenient for a group, spatious with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom with a bathtub. Easy to access any location in Tokyo with transport few minutes away from the airbnb.

At first, a little concerned about no-elevator. But compared with the convenient location, food show supermarket and many restaurants nearby, it’s nothing to walk to 4th floor. Mr. Takayuki provides detailed services like a pack of wet towels in the toilet, three tins of green tea bags, black tea bags and coffee. A decent refrigerator!

The host is very responsive and addressed our questions very quickly. The space felt quite large to us, so we were comfortable here.

The host was friendly and flexible letting us check in early. We were grateful to have the place and rest on the first day due to the early flight arrival. Very responsive and provided a lot of information with pre written Q&A. This Airbnb is small and new, manageable for 2 guests, 3 would be tight if with luggages. The apartment is clean, bathtub can be used as a hot tub which was very nice to relax and decompress after a long day of walking. We love the neighborhood and around the corner to Senso-ji and Nakamise market. The only downside as other reviews pointed out, the central air is right above the bed. The blowing air cold or heat can be bothersome when sleeping and can make it extremely dry for body. Overall, this Airbnb is amazing in all aspects.

The place is super small and the laundry dryer doesn’t work and the host isn’t that helpful when it comes to the dryer other than to point out the closest laundromat. That being said, they are responsive and the place is clean. I would NOT recommend this place for groups larger than 2 people max. Ideally a couple that gets along in close spaces. Came here with my wife and 2 young kids and we stayed out the entire day to avoid being inside. The sleeping situation was decent for us but the rest of the place is insanely small. It doesn’t have a living room or even a useable eating area. Shower is so cramped and trying to use the sink is a major challenge for anyone taller than 5’5. I gave 5 stars cause the place is clean and host is responsive. That’s all we can really ask for as guests from a host. It worked out for us but it wasn’t a comfortable experience so know that when booking

I was really impressed with this accommodation! It was truly comfortable—the bed was incredibly soft, and the space was well-equipped with a kitchen and a dining area where I could easily prepare and enjoy my meals. The bathroom was fantastic as well, keeping me warm and cozy during the winter. I just want to say that I was genuinely happy staying here!
