Beachfront holiday rental in Scottish Borders

Loved our time at Gunsgreen. Amazing place to stay and the house was really beautiful. Tracey was great and super helpful.

We booked two weeks here as we were working away in Berwick, the cottage was about 10 mins drive from where we were working. The cottage was lovely, very clean and in a beautiful location. The welcome hampers were also a lovely addition. If I had to pick any faults with the place it would be WiFi and TV but to be fair to the cottage I feel this is more due to location rather than amenities as the cottage is located down the side of a cliff. WiFi speed is 1mb at best so loading movies etc is non existent. But you can search online be it slowly. But again, I don’t think this is the fault of the hosts, just merely the age and location of the cottage. There is very basic sky tv which essentially gives you freeview. We simply downloaded plenty of content before arrival. I would 100% stay here again as I say the location was beautiful. So thank you.

What a fabulous little house! So cosy with beautiful views and a great cafe just across from it. Lovely walks over the cliffs - we saw dolphins and seals - amazing. Shame there’s not a pub in St Abs but we walked into Coldingham along the cliff path for a drink - we came back the same way as there isn’t a pavement on the road back but if you take torches the cliff path was okay - barely needed the torches as the moon was so bright. We will definitely be back again.

This place was awesome and William was a great host. Super helpful and responsive even to organising Prosecco and flowers for my wife as a surprise for our anniversary! The place was spotless and clean, we could not have asked for more. We will definitely be booking again! Thanks William!

Had a fantastic 3 night stay at The Crow's Nest! Great location, easily accessible to all local amenities and the beach! Flat was clean and tidy and a good size. Log burner was fabulous! David very kindly left more wood etc on request. Would highly recommend staying at The Crow's Nest and will definitely be back! 😁

This is a very special place, even in the deepest of winter. It's unique and quite magical. We would like to come back in the summer to see the contrast, but I would recommend this place any time of the year.

Sharon’s place is beautiful. The view is stunning. It’s a wonderful place to stay. She has thought of everything to give a lovely and welcoming stay. Recommendations, communication and responsiveness to any queries etc are brilliant, second to none. So very very helpful in responding to anything at all and very quickly. A really wonderful holiday experience.

Great stay at James place. Cannot fault it, we had a great weekend and stay here and will look to come back again. Lovely high end apartment with quality fixtures and fittings. I definitely recommend!!

Beautiful, cosy and well-equipped cottage in a stunning location. Fantastic place to spend Christmas. We loved sitting out next to the sea each morning watching the sun rise over the bay. We can't recommend it highly enough.

An excellent place. The house is extremely tidy, comfortable and cozy. The location is quiet and is a 5 minute drive from St. Abbs. Shona was an excellent host, always giving very clear and helpful instructions as well as leaving lots of information available for our trip. Highly recommend!
