Barn accommodation in River Great Ouse

Great stay at Grooms Cottage. So peaceful and relaxing. Lovely views of the countryside. Host was super helpful and responsive. We had everything we needed and the wood burning fireplace was a cosy touch.

Amazing short stay away, accommodation was lovely and secluded, loved meeting Stanley, had a quaint walk around the wooded area and attached field and just enjoyed the peacefulness of it all. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Relaxing weekend at White House Farm Holiday Cottages. We had everything we needed and Angela was very flexible with the check out time and responded quickly to messages.

Perfect location for London airports while being rural and peaceful. Beautiful property; actually stunning. Every bedroom with own en suite and very comfortable. Very friendly and helpful owner, Andrew. Great for our family get-together for a 60th birthday. Highly recomended.

We had a lovely stay for New Years. Sally’s place looked amazing from the photos, but was even better in real life! She was helpful and friendly and the place was just perfect for our get away with 4 adults, 2 children and a baby. We used the little lounge as a play room which worked brilliantly. So many lovely little touches. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Christmas in the Barn. Perfect for all the family to get together. Plenty of room and the communal dining, kitchen and lounge makes for a perfect family gathering. Would recommend it for large parties especially with the split across the two barns joined together. Will be coming back again Sophie

The little Barn was so beautiful and so much better than the pictures. What made it really special was that Rebecca had decorated the living and kitchen area with a Christmas tree, fairy lights and a door wreath. We even had a little goody hamper left on the side for us. Myself and my daughter had a fantastic stay and would 100% recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful getaway. I will definitely be returning next year 🥰

Outstanding hosts. We were super happy to stay with them for a second time! The welcome basket was a really thoughtful gesture and the extra touches like robes and slippers were very helpful.

Me and my girlfriend stayed here over our anniversary weekend and it was absolutely amazing. Tom’s place not only matched, but exceeded expectations in every aspect. Check in was smooth, the place was spotless and we had a lovely introduction to Tom and how everything worked (PS5, Nintendo Switch, Projector, Netflix, speakers etc). I cannot say enough good about our stay here, we both loved it. We especially found that everything was exactly how you’d want it to be. The lighting was wonderful, scented air in every room, phone chargers on the bedside cabinet, heated floors, massive relaxing shower, well-equipped kitchenette and coffee machine - absolutely 10/10 stay. We have never gone back to a place we’ve stayed previously, but we will absolutely be back here someday! Not to mention, Tom went out of his way to offer his blender to us for the weekend when I enquired if the kitchenette had one already.

couldn't of asked for better everything was perfect! instructions were exact and I found instantly. it was extremely clean there some nice breakfast bits left for us along with milk and butter for tea and toast the coffee machine was a nice touch. hot tub was great on the night star gazing. the instructions for the hot tub were very clear and simple to operate.

We had a lovely 4 night stay the apartment is on the first floor with great views over open countryside. The apartment was and comfortable and spacious with everything you need dish washer, microwave, air fryer, toaster and washing machine. Kelly was welcoming and well organised would highly recommend.

What an amazing little place to stay! Loving and clean with modern interior throughout. Location is beautiful and very peaceful can not recommend enough!! We enjoyed a tasty meal which was one of Philippa's recommendations at The White Lion Inn which is a 10 minute drive away. Overall a very cosy place to stay for a peaceful break in the countryside!

We had a family new year gathering, with 3 generations. The Red Barn was beautiful and was suitable for all of us. Communication was great throughout the whole process. We loved the selection of family games, especially dog bingo! Hot tube was a huge hit for everyone. Would definitely recommend. Kitchen is very well equipped and we didn't need anything. We all loved it here. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A really lovely stay! The accomodation is really tastefully decorated and well furnished. A beautiful spot for watching the sunrise and for retreating in the countryside with a woodburner.

Sophie’s barn has been a great place for our girls weekend trip. We loved the space and it is in a beautiful, peaceful area.

We went with friends for New Year. It was perfect for us and a good space to socialise. The barn is well equipped and beautifully decorated. The beds were super comfortable. The icing on the cake was the hot tub it was a perfect temperature and so lovely to relax in.I would highly recommend Louise and Andrew’s barn. A true gem in a pretty village 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

We had a fabulous weekend at the Blue Barn, Barry was very helpful before we arrived recommending a lovely pub for dinner Cromwell cottage, this was walking distance, it had a lovely ambience and good food. We were welcomed by a bottle of cava for our anniversary along with a hand written card, milk butter and croissants, all such a thoughtful touch. The barn itself was beautifully finished we were really pleased with our choice of accommodation. The heating was on when we arrived and was super cosy. I would definitely return and would recommend this property to anyone that just wants to unwind and have some time out. The local village shop had everything we needed for the weekend and was well stocked. Thank you Barry and Nicky for a wonderful stay.

The Loft was located in a quiet, rural setting. Inside the accomodation was spotless with a very modern feel and proper attention to detail. Plenty of space and a real luxury feel. Electric blinds, keypad lighting and heating system which were very easy to use, big screen TV, large pristine bathrooms, and lots of kitchen gadgets. Great communication from the host throughout. Recommended.
