Barn accommodation in England

We had a wonderful break at this beautiful place, waking to the dawn chorus every day, listening to the owls in the evening, and even saw a couple of deer in the garden, absolutely beautiful. The spa was lovely, and was such a great experience to have it to ourselves, we felt very relaxed after our long weekend stay. Fordingbridge not far to eat and drink/shop for groceries, and beautiful New Forest walks only a few minutes in the car, would highly recommend, thank you so much… and the welcome cake was lovely too!

Stylishly decorated Homemade jams and granola, honey, yoghurt, and bought-in croissants, tea and coffee left for us Very good log burner Natasha recommended a great pub nearby Slight quibbles- (hyper critical): Shower room a little functional Fair amount of owner's stuff about - e.g material swatches, 'Dad rock' albums and hifi . Overall, I recommend highly.

Our first proper visit to Dartmoor was a great experience, largely thanks to the comforts of Francesca’s beautiful barn. It is “in the middle of nowhere” yet only just down the road really from a pub and shop. The location offers a perfect place to explore the local area. The kitchen and living areas are spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. It is well laid out as part of three houses together and offers considerable privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay with friends and family. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed, from all kitchen appliances, extra blankets, and board games. We loved our stay and would stay again. Thank you

We absolutely loved our time at Sara and Rob’s place. An idyllic location with great facilities at the barn. Sara and Rob were welcoming, kind, and patient. Would love to stay again.

What an amazing little place, great location, loads of lovely walks nearby. Lucy met us upon arrival and kindly showed us around including some local sites. The place is relatively newly done with great facilities. The en-suites were superb and the bed and the matresses were excellent meaning we all got a great nights sleep after all the walking. We will 100% return. Thanks

We were a family party with ages from 5 to 75 . Lots for everyone to do ( swimming , tennis, billiards/snooker & beautiful walks all there) There was enough space both inside the wonderfully converted barn and outside in the extensive grounds to enjoy each others company without being overcrowded. Thanks Sarah for enabling a lovely weekend .

We had a lovely one night getaway at Richard’s place, it was clean spacious and had all the amenities that were listed, he was lovely with greeting us upon arrival, showed us to the barn, we couldn’t thank Richard enough for taking his time to show us everything :)

Wow! What a stunning place!! So immaculate, modern, spacious and private. Everywhere you look there are beautiful plants, homely touches and very stylish well chosen pieces. The whole look and feel of the interior is fabulous with plenty of space to relax and enjoy a film on the huge screen. The bed is very comfortable and the vast private garden would be perfect for drinks and outdoor dining on summer evenings. Sean was very friendly and on hand should we need anything and made us feel very welcome. We can’t wait to rebook again soon as it’s already become one of our favourites ever on Air BnB! Liz was a wonderful host: we checked ourselves in (there’s a keybox but the key had been left in the door for us) and Liz knocked on the door to say hi! She was so lovely and made us feel right at home. We were so impressed with the space: it is spacious and open, very clean and has everything we needed (including a couple of games to keep us entertained). The bed is really comfy, and it was perfect to go to sleep/wake up to the skylight window above us. Easy vicinity to get to all the sights we wanted to see by car. The instructions were helpful and clear so that we knew exactly what to expect when we arrived and we got exactly what we wanted. Would highly recommend!

One of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed at! We stayed here for my husbands birthday with our 19 month and 6 week old and they had truly thought of everything. There was a high chair, cot bed, toys, books and even a baby towel left in the property. It was a great location and we had a lovely time.

Stayed here for the weekend for my birthday and ended up staying an extra night as it was beautiful. The home was perfect and was exactly how it was advertised. Would 100% recommend as a getaway!

Nic and Chris are excellent hosts. Chris was out each morning in the yard tending to the animals and always made time to chat with us. My grand-kids loved it! We would definitely stop again. Well done guys...

The barn is stunning and the views fantastic. It was lovely to be able to walk down the fields after a long journey, and Cajsa gave us a warm and friendly welcome - the eggs were much appreciated! The local pub was friendly and we found other good places to eat too. There is plenty do do and see in the area, while the barn gave us a warm, cosy place to come back to each evening. Everything was spotless and we highly recommend staying there.

Amazing view from the house. Rooms were spacious, especially kitchen area. Great location for families 5 or more people. Quick drive to the A30 (if you can fit through the bridge). Hot tub, with scones and Prosecco was an added bonus! Had a few minor issues, which Jeremy helped to rectify where he could. Definitely stay again!

We had an amazing stay! It is a beautiful place; spacious and well equipped. Both the sofa and the bed are extremely comfortable. The location is lovely, we would highly recommend and go again x

We had a wonderful quiet few days spent chatting and enjoying the beautiful surroundings the area had to offer. For a quiet getaway I could not recommend enough.

The Barn is a beautifully laid out, well-appointed accomodation in a lovely location. It suited us - two families with grown children - very well, having four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a large living area with table for puzzles, large couches and TV. From the doorstep you can take walks around the larger estate, down to the lake or up the hill to catch the views. And it is well-placed as a base to spend a day hiking in the mountains (we enjoyed traversing Pen-y-Fan on a bright and extremely frosty day) or visiting nearby towns such as the delightful Hay-on-Wye. Sally and Hugh were friendly and helpful - many thanks!

It was so incredibly peaceful, which was exactly what we needed. The house was warm and comfortable with everything we needed for our few days away. I don’t think I’ve slept that well for months!! A perfect place to stay. The sun pouring through the windows also helped us to relax and enjoy.

Myself and a few friends were looking to escape and have a private beautiful place for a relaxing new year break and the barn was exactly this! We felt at home straight away. The barn is stunning - it’s somebody’s home with books, artwork, rugs, lots of life. Once you’re settled you won’t want to leave- we didn’t!

What a beautiful place to stay! The attention to detail was amazing and it had all the possible amenities you could need. Diewertje was incredibly responsive and even left a little gift for our 1 year old which was extremely kind. We really enjoyed using the log burner on some cold and windy evenings. The location is also great for exploring the local area. We would not hesitate to stay again!

Beautiful barn with lots of space and plenty to keep you occupied. Well stocked with all the essentials and more. Rachel was quick to respond to all messages, and provided helpful information on local takeaways, places to eat, and visit. It is just off of the A303, so you can hear the road from outside, but it’s not enough to bother you, if you want complete silence however it’s not that. One tiny thing I would suggest is take your own towels if you’re planning on using the hot tub, as only one bath towel and hand towel is provided per guest. Minor issue though, as there is a tumble dryer that you could always use to dry them between uses. Would definitely book again!
