Cabin holiday rentals in River Eden

Me and my wife booked this as a little break for my birthday, we wanted to try something different and wasn’t let down it was fantastic and something we will definitely do again and will definitely return here. The cabin was very clean and tidy and the view was stunning. Was great chilling in the hot tub with a beer looking over the fields. Was so peaceful with a lovely little town a short walk away. Thanks Stuart you will definitely see us again 😁

Adam communicated with us to let us know when the lodge would be ready and informed us how to use the Hot Tub. On arrival, we found the lodge to be clean, tidy and more than enough room for 2 x adults and 1 x child. Would definitely recommend staying and would look to stay in future. Adam was friendly and approachable which is always a nice gesture.

We had a lovely time! He kept us up to date with check in and allowed us to check in at 11:00am which was very kind! He thoroughly gave us a tour of the Lakeland Leisure Village and Lodge whilst also providing recommendations of places to eat and things to do. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be recommending to others and hopefully staying again at some point in the future.

The lodge was absolutely stunning and exactly what we wanted. Upon arrival all the essentials were provided like bread, milk and a delicious cake along. The lodge was very clean and all towels were provided, including the towels for the hot tub. The views from the lodge looking out from the bedrooms and hot tub were stunning and certainly helped us all to relax. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need - nothing was missing. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable week - I couldn’t recommend it enough if you want peace and quiet and stunning views.

Myself and my family had a wonderful time at Charlottes place. It was in a great location with a lovely view over the lake and the cabin itself was extremely well equipped with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. We enjoyed exploring the area, lots to see and do, Kirkby Lonsdale was our favourite but plenty to come back for. Charlotte was a great host, responding to questions very quickly. We hope to return to this area of the country at some point in the future and would love to stay and Charlottes place.

My Husband and I only stayed one night, but it was perfect for what we needed. We did end up needing more wood for the hot tub before it finally got to the right temperature and it was a wonderful experience after that. Beautiful and clean pod will all the basic essentials. Bathroom a lot bigger than anticipated. Won’t be our last time here for sure. Local coop just 5 min drive. Thank you Thomas.

Absolutely perfect! We had such a wonderful time! The scenery was beautiful and the kids loved seeing the chickens every day! We will certainly be coming again. Thank you again Julia!

A really lovely stay. The place was absolutely spotless and had everything we could have needed. We are definitely going to come again and bring the family next time! Lots of nice walks nearby too which was fantastic. Thankyou for the Easter treats!

We loved our stay at Marion’s pod on the lake - it was so peaceful and private and made us feel lost in nature! Would definitely come back, thanks again for our stay

Denise was extremely helpful and approachable. She took the time to send a few messages to ensure we were clear on check in. Denise welcomed us and showed us to the lodge. The lodge was super clean, well equipped and Denise even supplied the basic condiments, tea, coffee, juice, milk with some welcome biscuits thrown in! The lodge was also dog friendly. The kids loved their bed room and we were all very comfortable. We had a great stay and the lodge more than met our needs. We plan to return.

Cabin was great, everything we needed was there. Information provided was clear and really helpful we went to a number of things that were recommended by Aggie in her welcome pack and they were all great!!

Caravan was immaculate and had everything you needed. Was really homely and cosy. Nice short walk into town which had lovely dog friendly places to eat and drink. The hill going up to the caravan was very slippy as it had been raining, i had slipped on wet moss going out one morning so just to warn people to be mindful of this. Would definately return as we had a lovely stay.

Lovely pod, everything you need. Very clean and stylish. Beds are pull out, apart from the ones upstairs. They were very comfortable and we had a great sleep. The shower was amazing… hot & powerful, especially after being out walking all day. Wi-Fi is good, even has sound system & smart TV. Located at the back of the park, quiet and secluded. The park is well maintained & the foods very good in the restaurant. All Staff we came across, were very friendly and helpful. I brought my Nan back for her 80th, as she use to stay at Hollins Farm seasonally many years ago. It was a trip up memory lane. Plenty of places to walk, especially the hill at the back of Hollins farm. The views are still very impressive to this day. Silverdale is just a little Gem, the gift that keeps on giving. Will definitely be returning.

Lovely clean caravan In beautiful peaceful surroundings. The caravan park itself only had around 5 caravans so nice and quiet, the donkeys were a welcome sight too! First ever Airbnb for all of us which went very smoothly so big thank you to Rachel for her advice (and the park warden who found my wallet and arranged to post it out for me!) Stayed to walk scafell pike which went very well. Big things!

This was the best place I’ve stayed in when visiting the Lake District. It was so peaceful and the cabin was immaculate. There’s lovely walks in the area and Windermere is a 15 minute drive away. I wouldn’t change anything about it and will definitely be returning!

Amazing place to stay, we took 3 of our dogs and our son. Hot tub, amazing children’s play area, trampoline, swings, seesaw, 20+ go carts with track, play obstacle course, climbing frame, slide, basketball hoops and football nets. The pictures on the advert are outdated and don’t show the go cart track. A brilliant field specifically for walking the dogs, not fully secure due to gaps under the gate but great for dogs who will ignore sheep. Lovely pod with everything we could have needed, hot tub lovely and warm, amazing views. Picnic bench and parking space. Lots of towels available, comfy bed and pillows. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco, eggs and biscuits. Very happy with our stay! We went to The bridge end inn for tea, 2 nights in a row!! The food was absolutely fantastic, well priced but quality fresh cooked food. Booking is a must as they were very busy.

very nice lodge situated close to enough to motorway for arrival and departure and also within driving distance of all of the lakes best parts

Great place to stay. Stayed at Pod 3, amazing view of the river, arrived very late and Catherine had the hot tub and pod all warmed up for our late arrival. Although the pod doesn’t get hot as such, hot water bottles were provided and a big fire pit was readily available. Failing that, a hot shower or a dip in the hot tub . Fantastic two nights away, will definitely be coming back!

A perfect stay for the beginning of our Cumbria way walk. The Shepherd's hut was spotless and Hilary had supplied some lovely breakfast items for us to enjoy. Hilary is a great host and went above and beyond to help with our walking plans. Spotting deer out the window was a highlight! I recommend the stay to any guest thinking about booking it - do it! We can't wait to stay again.

Thanks for letting us stay at your lovely holiday home. Very well appointed, kitchen had everything you could need. Warm, good beds and bedding. Very clean and the added bonus of a hot tub.

Katie was super helpful in our stay! She came out to help us late in the evening when we couldn’t stop the alarm going off! The pod was in a lovely location with great views, perfect place to start our hike from. Thanks for having us :D

Nicola was a brilliant host, she knew exactly what direction to point us when we needed recommendations. Her properties location was breathtaking, especially after our 10 mile hike! It was a shame the outdoor shower has had to be removed as that would have been a stunning experience given the location, however Nicola was quick to advise and give us an alternative option to shower off the sink from our hike! The location is stunning, host was brilliant! Wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you so much!
