BANS Plantation is a gem nestled in the lush green spaces of Coorg. The property is exactly as described and what you see in the pictures. Spacious and clean for family/friends to unwind over a holiday or weekend getaway. Our recent stay there was fabulous. Kids loved to play with the friendly dogs on premises. Mr. Naniappa is genuinely interested to know what his guests need and is willing to offer help. He gave us pointers on local attractions, even helped arrange an affordable day ride for sightseeing. He walked us through his coffee and pepper plantations, giving us a glimpse of how they are grown and managed. One can even get a taste of what they grow, which is as fresh as it gets. We had our meals at the property for the most part. Home made food by Mrs. Shobha was delicious. My kids can get picky about food, they thoroughly enjoyed everything that she made. We carry great memories from our stay here, and will be keen to go back there in the future., when possible.

We had an incredible stay at Ayyappa sir's place, The accommodation was spotless, cozy, well equipped, family friendly and has beautiful surroundings. Ayyappa sir was exceptionally friendly, welcoming and supported in every way to ensure our comfort. He provided helpful recommendations for local attractions and arranged cabs as well. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a wonderful stay with a kind, thoughtful, attentive host.

We had a very memorable and relaxing stay at Som's Gateway. Our host, Sampan and his family made welcomed us with open arms and made is feel right at home. The property itself is tucked away in the middle of the coffee plantation, and is very tastefully done up. More than us, our dog Yumi really enjoyed running around in the meadows and found herself a new best friend with Ein, the farm Labrador puppy. A few things to note - It's recommended that you carry your own food to cook, all the cooking amenities are provided in the villa. We had a lot of fun preparing our own breakfasts every morning. There is a lunch/dinner service provided however don't expect any hotel like services. Additionally, the phone reception is a little wonky in the area, but the villa wifi was stable and worked well. Overall, I would definately recommend Sampan's place! I'll definately be visiting again to spend some more playtime with Ein!

firstly, the place is exactly as seen in the images, the host is very helpful and available for anything and everything. our stay during the weekend was worth it as the place is very calm, peaceful, between the nature and since it is located very close to the town, everything was readily available. nice place to stargaze at night. the usp of this place is the homemade food. would love to visit again.
