The quality of hospitality Shehan and his wife presented, the content and standard they maintained in the foods and drinks they offered and the cooperation and friendliness they showed to us, frankly speaking, we don't have right words to express and describe. We are overwhelmed. Another point I would like to mention that Shehan has always provided us with right kind of information and suggestions - accurate, wise and precise, at our any needs, within moments. We are really lucky that we had such a nice couple as our host. Such a special experience! The homestay felt like a great, unique base for a trip to Anuradupura. Guanaratha and his wife are excellent, attentive hosts. I really enjoyed joining Guarantha for one of his English classes, learning how to make Sri Lankan food his with wife, and exploring the area with their son. Pickup at the Talawa train station could not have been easier and Guarantha was super responsive while I was planning my trip. Both the room and bathroom were clean and tidy. I appreciated the mosquito net so I could leave the windows open. Food was also super solid. Don’t skip this! It’s a highlight.

Dr Prasanna’s place was beyond our expectations. The house is beautiful and very clean. The AC and the fan works very well and the pool is clean. The surrounded by nature, cute squirrels and beautiful peacocks are permanent occupants of the garden. Despite the natural surroundings, I have to precise that there is absolutely no bugs in the room (not even moustiquos). You will wake up to the sound of nature every morning and to the delicious breakfast prepared by Lucky’s family, the neighbours. Talking about Lucky, he’s the perfect tuktuk driver and guide for your stay in Anuradhapura. To conclude, do not hesitate to book this wonderful space.
