Holiday rentals with a patio in Playas del Coco

Denise and Tom are great hosts and their place worked out great for us. The apartment on the back of their beautiful home had a view of the pool and was great for our time in CR. As noted, you need a car here to access restaurants and explore, but Hacienda Pinilla was a great spot with beautiful beaches and security was tight. This was perfect for us, and since we ate out for every dinner, we preferred it to the daily fees from the Marriott and the beach club. Hope to be back!

We loved our stay so much, the space is beautiful with lots of natural light, great studio layout. Mariel was very helpful throughout our stay, and it was so nice to do a Pilates class in her studio which is on the same property. It's in a very peaceful part of Tamarindo, but still close by to the town center. We will definitely stay here again in the future! It's my fave place I've stayed in Tamarindo thus far, and I go often. Happy to have found this gem. Thanks Mariel for making our stay amazing!

Laura is an amazing host, friendly, helpful & accommodating. All the great restaurants, shopping, beaches are ajust a few minutes walk or golf cart ride away. Had 6 people in our group and we all had our own Casita or studio apartment, but yet were all together enjoying the many common areas. Amazing property with so many different outdoor spaces to enjoy. Spectacular ocean views,from the infinity pool, 2 of the different longe areas and more. Laura was also helpful with getting us transportation to and from the airport, also to set up excursions for us that we could rely on and would pick up/drop off at our front door. Would give 10 stars to Laura and Casa Catalina if it was possible. Definitely referring her to friends and family.

The place was exactly as the pictures show. It was clean and organized. Well equipped kitchen. The pool is right across the street from the unit. Location, just a few minutes from the beach. Carley’s, is very helpful, great communication and easy check in.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and clean place to stay with an excellent location in Potrero Guanacaste! Ideally located near stunning beaches and local conveniences. Can't wait to come back!

The place exceeds the photos, it is easy to get to and located in an extremely quiet place, excellent to rest, everything clean and organized. Furnished with very good taste and new. The best thing about the owner and host is a very friendly and attentive Costa Rican. Super recommended place.

This Airbnb was absolutely beautiful! The place is even more beautiful in person. It is about 30 minutes from the heart of Tamarindo. So keep that in mind. The hosts assistance was the highlight!!! She assisted us with everything. Booking a chef, airport transportation, recommendations and all!! Even got me a birthday cake! Truly an amazing experience from beginning to end.

Great value for Playa Grande. Patrick was a very thoughtful and helpful host. He kindly allowed us a late check out and offered us a ride to help us carry our things to our next accommodation nearby. The space is small but efficiently laid out. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast.

This villa was spacious and such a great find for our family vacation! The kids loved having couches to lounge on and we loved having separate bathrooms to help speed up showers after the beach. The AC worked really well and it was super comfortable for us! We felt very secure and safe in the home and it was just right across the street from a great place to eat at the Rip Jack Inn and a quick walk to beautiful Playa Grande! The setup of the house is perfect for 2 families or traveling with grandparents as each bedroom had an attached bathroom in it. The kitchen was well stocked with plates/cups. Looking forward to coming back as soon as we can!

We stayed a week with our two adult daughters in January and had a wonderful time! Jennifer's rental is perfectly located - up the hill with stunning views of the bay and the surrounding hills, yet easily walkable to the beach, restaurants and shopping. The pools in the complex are perfect to cool off and very quiet. The whole complex was peaceful and secure. Great communication from Jennifer, including recommendations for tours. We loved Diamante Eco Park and the sunset cruise. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Coco is a fun little village and very casual. Tank tops and flips flops are about as dressy as it gets. Everyone is friendly and it's a great mix of Costa Ricans and foreigners enjoying the Pura Vida vibes. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Johan's place from Feb 1st-8th. Their place is exactly like the pictures. They have it fully equipped which is great when you're "away from home but it feels like home!" It's in a gated community so you feel safe and close to everything. We really enjoyed the terrace and the pool! Thanks so much for having us!!

We have already visited Pinilla on several occasions. For us its location and safety is most valuable. By joy, on this occasion our stay was up to par with the house and its hosts Veronica and Mahomet.

We had both condos for our stay and it comfortably hosted 10 people and was completely spotless. The pool was in good condition, and the location is an easy walk to everything you need in Tamarindo.

If you are looking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Playas del Coco, but be within reach of all the adventures this part of Costa Rica has to offer, we would recommend unit 37 in the Hermosa Heights subdivision. We found the unit and subdivision to be comfortable, safe and secure. There is an ocean view and a nice pool to relax. The patio is big enough for 6 and a nice place to send your mornings and evenings checking out the birds and local iguanas. The kitchen was well equipped, and we managed fine for 5 days. Any issues with water supply have been addressed. We lost power for an hour one day, but it was not an inconvenience. All the ACs and bathrooms were functioning fine; and the fact that there is a washer/dryer was really nice for a longer stay. There is a movie theatre, fish monger, wine shop and other amenities on prem. We did not have time to enjoy them all. The local beach requires a drive, but it takes less than 10 mins. There is parking for 1 car at the unit.

This Airbnb was excellent. The location was fantastic. We felt safe and secure. The beach, pub, grocery and restaurants were all close by and were very friendly. The rooftop was exceptional. The view was amazing. The bbq was in excellent condition with lots of propane.

A responsive property manager/owner that actually cares makes all the difference in a short term stay. Mark was great and his place is located perfectly next to one of our favorite beaches in CR!

We absolutely loved Patrick’s place! It was everything we hoped for and more. We felt right at home and safe at all times. Everything is extremely walkable - the beach, grocery stores and restaurants. Patrick was easy to communicate with, and very quick to respond to any and every question we had. Thank you so much, Patrick! We were also amazed by every detail that was thought of, to make sure we had the best possible stay (kitchen supplies, beach chairs, grocery bags, picnic bag- you name it)! We hope to be back in the very near future!

No complaints. Gated condo community. Easy, free parking. Could walk to a coffee shop and a few restaurants. 15 minute walk to main road. Condo had some beach necessities like beach chairs, towels, noodles, which we used multiple times. Lovely outdoor patio with a beautiful view. Would definitely stay here again!

Second time staying here, and once again a fantastic choice. The main street, offering countless restaurants, is less than a 5 minutes walk away. The beach is just as close. Very secure building, quiet and peaceful. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware and utensils. Beds are super comfy with extra linens and towels available. Would definitely stay again!

Stephanie was very communicative and helpful during our stay. The place was conveniently nearby a few different restaurants and a market. We also found it to be very accessible to the activities in Tamarindo and the beach. Thank you for a nice stay, well worth the price. Pura vida!
