Holiday rentals with beach access in Playas del Coco

My boyfriend and I came for a quick birthday trip. Sergio and Michelle showed us exceptional hospitality and made our stay unforgettable. Their thoughtfulness and generosity exceeded all expectations, and I cannot thank them enough for being such outstanding hosts. Their insider tips truly enriched our trip and made it unforgettable The apartment was clean & bright with a beautiful interior and was exactly what we needed. The exterior was gorgeous and well kept. The grounds were beautifully landscaped. Awesome! The studio is great for 2 people, the grounds are beautiful, and the location is perfect. We stayed in the main house last year with family and opted for the studio this time. Nick and his staff are friendly and helpful, and you can't go wrong staying here. We'll be back again.

These guys did a great job, great location and proactive on the communication. Found the place no problem, had assistance checking in. Parking was on the street which can be sparse, but the location is right on the beach in the middle of everything. Felt safe. I stayed here with my sister, but feel like this is great value especially if you had 4 people. Gracias.

We came here for a week for work, and we could not have been happier with our experience. The home was beautiful, the location is great, the views are amazing! The staff was incredibly helpful, we never ever ran into anybody who wasn’t extremely helpful and friendly. Flamingo is a much smaller and quieter area, but definitely still has things to do and places to go and eat. Arun was incredibly responsive and very helpful, I will absolutely go here again.

Would 100% stay here again. Wow the view is stunning. Beds were comfy, ac worked well. Access to the beach right there, pool was nice. Great place and nice neighbors. Had a window blind that was broken when we showed up and management came and took care of it immediately. Beach chairs, umbrella, sand toys and some pool toys were in the closet which we thoroughly enjoyed!! We stayed here on NYE and were able to see fireworks all around sitting on the beach, fantastic way to ring in the new year. Great stay!

This place was perfect for us for our first time to Tamarindo. It was away from downtown to keep it quiet but easily walkable to downtown and everything around that area. It was great waking up and seeing the ocean every morning. Recommend you to stay if you get the chance.

A+ for Elodie and the condo. The 7th floor deck became a social gathering point for other vacationers as we watched the sunset each evening. Elodie quickly addressed the few problems we had, and they were minor. You'll love it!

We had an amazing stay! The place is exactly like the photos—beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our family. The kitchen (and outdoor kitchen) made it easy to cook, and the pool was a great place to relax. The neighborhood is quiet but super convenient, with restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance and an easy drive to beaches and other sights. Christian was an incredible host—responsive, helpful, and made sure everything was just right for us. Highly recommend!

Diane’s place is very close to the ocean and within walking distance of the markets and restaurants. Great vacation! Would stay again.

John’s place was fantastic! The location was perfect, and having a pool was a huge plus for our kids. John was very responsive, and we really appreciated Reina coming by twice to clean during our stay. Everything was smooth and enjoyable—highly recommend! Thanks again, John!

Great amenities. Dirk was extremely responsive and gave great recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The beach is directly across the street. There are several restaurants within walking distance and a market to grab last minute/forgotten items. Don't miss Cafe Mar Azul, the food is fantastic and inexpensive. There's a surf shack next door where you can rent surf boards and book excursions. Very safe area. The house was very roomy, clean, and comfortable. We'd book this location again if we vacation in Costa Rica again in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay at Casa Querencia. We unfortunately had a lot of rain, it is rainy season so understandable, but having the outdoor patio was amazing to still enjoy the outdoors. We enjoyed the beautiful landscaped backyard with a pool plus birds, iguanas and monkeys. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. Al was a great host!

Had a fantastic stay in the Tamarindo area thanks to Jake! His place was exactly as listed, and being so near the beach never gets old. While the house is on the edge of town, there are enough restaurants within walking distance that we never felt too far from things, and it's easy enough to drive if need be. Would happily stay here again!

The place is wonderful, clean, private and welcoming. We will definitely return my family. Vidal was aware of anything we needed. We felt very safe.

The location was fantastic. We were just a 2 minute walk to the beach, and we also felt safe walking to and from restaurants at night. Kenneth was a great host. He met us upon arrival and was very reponsive to our questions and concerns. We did find some ants appearing in the evening. He as very apologetic and he came and sprayed for us at a mutually agreeable time. Two items of note: 1. The bathroom sink/ toilet area is quite small to move around in, but the shower is large. 2. The kitchen sink water doesn't get very hot so you have to supplement with hot water from the tea kettle. Everything was presented accurately and the bed was very comfortable.

Arrived at 9 PM. There was still parking available. There was a 24-hour onsite security guard that said "hi". Within 20 minutes we were in the unit and had the car entirely unloaded. The apartment is a small 2-bedroom 1-bath but the patio on the roof is the size of the entire apartment, giving plenty of room for a family. The patio has a covered dining table that easily seats 6, and nice patio furniture that would also seat 6. Our family ate dinner on the patio instead of in the apartment. The walk to the beach was less than 5 minutes, even with kids, and the beach was great for the kids to play on. Surf was only 1-2 feet and the water was warm. I could walk out 100 feet and the water was only up to my shoulders. The pool was nice, but not large, and was always in use. Our family was the largest group there and didn't feel crowded in the pool.

Chris’s condo is all we expected! Really nice property on the first floor of the Malinche complex with an awesome view. Communication with Chris was very fluent and he provided helpful instructions with images and videos. I would definitely recommend this condo!

This was a wonderful stay at Stephanie’s condo. The condo was on the 2nd floor and the building was secure with a gate. Easy quick walk to the Main Street and water. We felt very comfortable and safe. Stephanie responded quickly to any questions and had very helpful ideas. The inside of the condo was so cute, beachy vibe, newly remodeled and has everything we needed including many towels and a washer and dryer. We loved this spot and would highly recommend it. You do not need a car to get around but if you have one, parking is no problem. Thanks for everything Stephanie!

My wife, our friend and I spent a wonderful 5 nights in Brandon's lovely condo in Playa Flamingo. Brandon's home was very well-located, comfortable and fun, and Brandon was very helpful and responsive. We can't say enough about Playa Flamingo. It's got modern touches, like several great restaurants within walking distance, and it's also a great jumping-off point for visiting other towns and beaches. We're already missing the fabulous views from the balcony, relaxing at the beautiful and comfortable pool, and our walks and swims on lovely Play Flamingo!

Recently remodeled and spacious unit. Ocean sounds, great pool area and walk 2 minutes to the beach every night for the sunset. Close to downtown but far enough to be quiet and relaxing. A few restaurants and a small store nearby for convenience. Super responsive hosts. Highly recommend!

What can I say about Daphne’s condo that already hasn’t been said!! All reviews are SPOT ON so there was no resistance in booking. When Daphne sent us her “concierge booklet” right after we booked, we knew it was going to be a first class stay. And it was. We loved so many things. Walk up entrance, clean pool and surroundings, friendly staff, very well appointed inside including linens and towels, spotless inside, all amenities provided including beach chairs for the SHORT walk down to Playa Penca, quiet at night, short walk to grocery and bar/restaurant and short drive to Surfside. It’s very obvious that taking care of her guests is important to Daphne and it shows. Thank you so much for a beautiful stay at Casa Del Sol! We loved it all! Pura Vida!!!!

Vincent's Tamarindo condo is a traditional CR condo in a location that is convenient to the Beach, downtown Tamarindo and other walkable locations. It is on a side road off one of the main Tamarindo roads. True addresses don't really exist in Costa Rica so be sure to get GPS coordinates for wayfinding. We had to pick up keys at a different location and were driving in the dark, so was a bit difficult but were helped by someone at Horizon Pacific properties (very nice.). Would be great to have keys onsite for ease of arrival. Vincent's place was very clean, EXTREMELY well-supplied kitchen and thoughtful gift and amenities. Complex was a mix of renters and long-term residents and there is a small pool to use. It felt very safe and secure. The condo was generally quiet and easy to keep zone-cool. Be aware that this part of CR does not flush toilet paper, FYI (had not run into this before in CR.). Vincent was very friendly, offered suggestion and was very responsive; would stay here again!

Lovely slice of paradise Sean has. Gorgeous view. We often walked down to the beach. Just outside his front door are steps. 2 flights down is ground level and 2-300 feet ahead is the beach. To the far left and right are rock outcroppings which I found meditative to sit on and watch the waves “crash” onto. Sean is consistently quickly responsive - and a nice guy! For restaurants Coco Loco and the long Playa Flamingo beach in front of it has a great vibe and quite good food. It’s not large so you may need to wait several minutes. Sunset there is stupendous. We also loved Tandor, in town. Pretty evident why it’s rated 4.9.
